Famous Dave’s is a hard pass for this stick burning guy. Ordering in-person was a definite struggle because there was no-one at the counter. After about a 5 minute wait I moved the 6 or 7 feet around the counter to the Carinos counter and got the rolled eye from the lady standing there not doing anything. She took my order: 2 brisket sandwiches, 1 order of fries and we took a seat. 30 minutes in my bride checked on the order and still nothing. Did I mention they were dead for business. They finally brought some orders up where they sat. Again, my wife asked, they checked and our order was there. When we got home, about 3 miles from there, the order was stone cold. Also, my wife’s sandwich was nothing but fat. Now I like a little fat, but couldn’t eat it. We split the other sandwich. The fries were undercooked and hard as a brick, they went into the trash. There was no smoke ring on the brisket and no smoked taste. It was more like chunks of roast with not enough sauce to taste. I don’t know why I went to an Italian place for Q, but it wont happen again!!

Recently ordered from here. I purchased through a delivery service. When I received my food it was barely warm. One of the sides I chose was the corn on the cob. It was seriously ice cold. I will never order from here again!

I called in a order for 3 brisket sandwiches they were on special for $5 we wanted to try them. They told us the order would be thirty minutes. We placed the order at 5:12 pm got there at 5:45 pm they said it would be another 15 minutes 20 minutes later my husband came out with the sandwiches. I called the restaurant and spoke to the manager Victoria she said the had ran out of brisket, thinking that if that were the case our sandwiches would be fresh and hot but nope the brisket was cold , the bun was cold. What a big disappointment. We love Carrinos but we won’t be back to either place. -1. Worse thing was they were not even busy counted 6 cars in the parking lot.

I ordered two items via door dash because we were thrilled to see a famous Dave’s in the area (we miss ours in El Paso), let me just say I will never order again, my nachos were FREEZING cold. Brisket felt like it had been pulled from a fridge and not even heated to room temp. No jalepenos, no sour cream, just toppled with cold cheese and lettuce. Such a smaller portion than what we were used to from the one in El Paso as well. They also completely forgot our ice cream side with dessert. So upset and seriously sad. I only put two stars because I threw it in the microwave and still ate it. But no joy and not worth ordering again.
