We’ve eaten here on past occasions and really like the food. Last night, though, we were seated and waited for our waiter. . . and waited and waited. We eventually asked twice for our waiter, once from the hostess and again to a passing waitress. We were told someone would be sent over, but after twenty minutes we had to take our five year old and leave. Does the wait staff not like each other? Do they not like their manager? They certainly didn’t care that it was 7:00 p.m. and we had just driven 25 minutes through traffic with a hungry child. What a disappointment.

Went for the 1st time last night. Started out as going to Texas Roadhouse but that was a 45 minute wait for a table for 2. Sorry. We don’t ever wait! We had just seen Famous Dave’s on the Travel Channel, so we figured why not? First of all, when you pull into the parking lot, the intoxicating smell of BBQ hits you immediately. Walking in, you feel like you’re walking into a cabin in the woods. Picture if Bass Pro Shop had a restaurant. The menu is pretty typical BBQ joint food with a few things you don’t typically have like burnt ends(to die for) and fried catfish fingers(yummo). We both had ribs and meat combos. I chose brisket and Mr had chopped pork. All were the best we’ve ever had this far north. The sides and cornbread muffins we’re exceptional too and nothing was overpriced in the least bit! The biggest plus was the place was immaculate! My only complaint was when we left we immediately wanted to go back for more! Absolute new favorite and can’t wait to go back!!!!

When it first opened , My Wife and I tried to get in, Took two Week.s for us to actually get seated ! Went back the next week and sat down , after ordering and getting our Dinner I noticed a roach on the wood partition next to my shoulder ! I told the Manager and he said the exterminator had just left ! We wereNOT offered a refund nor an apoligy. We were however offered a free meal next time we dined in ! Needless to say, We haven’t taken up the offer ! To this day we haven’t returned of purchased take out . It’s a shame, the food was pretty good ! Just wanted you to know our experience with Famous Dave’s

The food was plentiful and delicious! Totally enjoyed our first visit and will definitely return. We actually had to bring some home. That says a lot when there were 3 men eating. Highly recommend the ribs and pulled pork! YUM!

5 years ago saw a roach climbing on the wall during lunch and never went back. THAT IS WHY THEY ARE CLOSED! Disgusting.

Place really went downhill, our food was terrible (ribs, pulled pork, beef brisket, boneless wings) tables were sticky and so was the floor. The only thing we liked was the fries. We used to love coming here, but we won’t be back after tonight.

Great food, friendly service and an authentic TX feel at home. The only downside is if it’s slightly busy, you won’t get served for a long time. Otherwise, it’s awesome.
