Mashed potatoes had a funky flvor I’ve never tasted before. Lemonsde was instant, not squeezed and literally tasted like dish rag water (couldn’t even drink 1/2 the glass), ribs were excellent, as were the sauces. Conbread was the best part of the meal. Broccoli was hot, so that was good. Most places it’s cold by the time it’s served. Would I go back? No! Brother had pulled pork sandwich where the bread was too hard to eat (a sandwich bun too hard to eat???) Pobably stale for over a week.

I ordered delivery, and everything was packed nicely. St. Louis-style spareribs had good flavors but might be a bit too hard for me – wish it could be much more tender. The chopped pork was nicely done. Both beans and mashed potato’s were pretty good. Corn bread muffin was surprisingly nice. Bread pudding was also delicious (might be a bit too sweet, but it’s enjoyable). Overall, it’s a nice BBQ restaurant.

I am really impressed by the service at this restaurant. I ordered chili, and it didn’t come out as good as I had hoped for, but our server famous Jay was very professional and kind about it. I felt valued as a customer. I may also add that the appetizer “Burned ends” was to die for. Eating at this restaurant was a great experience, and my family and I will definitely come back soon.

Overall our meal was good. It definitely hit the spot as far as our bbq craving. Ribs were good but the brisket not so much. The pulled pork sandwich was good, although not as tender and juicy as I was hoping. Ambiance was nice and quiet in the restaurant area. I would give it a 3.5 but Google won’t let me!

We came in on Thursday evening and got the special for the day, rib tips for $11.99. Pleasantly surprised by the portion size and the food was great. Also, ordered the banana pudding, it reminded me of my aunt’s recipe and hers it the absolute best. Definitely would recommend and can’t have again!
