I ordered a tuna sandwich and my mother in law ordered her own meal. I asked for provolone cheese and my bread toasted. Sandwich was great but did not see any cheese or seemed toasted. Didn’t make a big deal about it! When I paid for my meal and advised I didn’t see any cheese, I was embarrassed by the server and then to tell the cooks I said there was no cheese on my sandwich. Cook was loud and made it known she put she on there! How they made me feel I didn’t even care to pay 0.99 for cheese. So unprofessional and felt embarrassed. Never again will I come back!

Took my two Cousins out to eat, and first thing we see after being seated, were dead bugs in ALL of the windows. (So we closed the blinds) . I ordered what used to be my fav to order, Taco salad. The waitress was very nice and brought the Taco salad to me and the shell was BURNT, so hard and she asked me did I want another. I said yes please. She brought the same one back turned around and said that was the BEST one they had.? I asked again to remake it and the “cook” said no. The Manager came over and brought another shell, after I had eaten half my salad (only) and I said no, never mind now, I’ve eaten enough. Not to mention I wouldn’t trust that they hadn’t done something to it at this point. I spent almost 40.00 for a very bad bag of lettuce. This will be the last time I go there, and I’m sure that doesn’t matter to FA’s but I am extremely disappointed because of the very poor, rude and sub par service today. It’s a shame how poorly Famous Anthony’s service has gotten. Again, the waitress I want to say was trying to be accommodating and she was extremely pleasant. The “manager” who brought the second shell over, never said she was the manager, so my trust in what they had done to it had vanished by that point. Maybe someone can retrain your employees about how service should be. Thank you for your time in this matter. And by all means, PLEASE have someone DAILY clean the dead bugs out of the windows. Very nasty.

Terrible “All You Can Eat Shrimp” dinner on Friday night. My boyfriend and I both ordered this as our entree. Got a tiny paper cup of slaw and a lot of French fries. Each of us got six butterfly (lukewarm at most) shrimp the first round of the “all you can eat shrimp.” Our requested second order of the shrimp came about 15 minutes later, this time we each got five butterfly shrimp. Definitely not worth the $16.99 each we were charged. Reminds me of the same trick The Red Lobster pulls with their “All You Can Eat Shrimp” dinner offer. They give you a small portion of shrimp, then have you wait quite a bit for the next round. As if they are trying to wait you out so you will get frustrated and leave. Will definitely not go back to Famous Anthony’s. Could have gotten a much better meal and deal at Long John Silver’s.

A friend n I usually meet at the Vinton Anthony’s twice a month. Last nite, I tried the Tuesday Burger n hot dog special w/fries. She got the Bacon Cheeseburger Wrap with fries. She had asked for no onions on the wrap n it had onions. I asked her to send it back for a new one to be made but she declined. The fries were horrible. Very dry, no warmth. like they had been sitting for quite some time. I told the waitress, could we have some fresh cooked hot fries, she said sure, my friend said she didn’t want any, her meal being incorrect had turned her off. Waitress brought a plate out with fries, they were hot, but not freshly cooked. Probably reheated, which anyone with any sense can tell. We will visit again, but am definitely going to ask for freshly cooked fries with some moisture when you bite into them, not dryness, hardness

The food was ok they’ve changed some food items up. Our waitress was nice but seemed stressed and the other two women that brought our food tried to give us items that wasn’t ours and didn’t have the rest of our items that were ours. The orange juice tasted like it was bad and the sweet tea tasted like instant that hadn’t been mixed right.
