Second time coming here. The first time we got breakfast and it was great. The second time not so much. Pictured is the loaded baked potato and salad the cost $10. For 10 dollars I thought the potato was going to be a large entree sized one. I was wrong. It was normal potato with a small side salad. You can get the same thing at Wendy’s for about $4. That was my wife’s. I got the peach cobbler a la mode. The bowl on the picture is what it came in. Once again, very small. All in all the meal was $23 dollars. Fool me once Famous Amos.

I called ahead for an ultimate chef salad, I was told 10 minutes. That worked perfectly because I only get a 30 minute break. I got there in 6 minutes so I know I was early they let me go ahead and pay. 10 minute mark I give them some time and t still haven’t made it. 20 minutes later I can hear them asking because they saw me sitting there waiting. They never started my salad the waitress asked if they wanted her to go make it. They threw it together in under 5 minutes. So I’ve almost waited 30 minutes for them to make a salad that has deli meats on it. I get my bag and check it in the car. I pull out the ranch to find this. It was completely everywhere there’s no way she did not see it leaking she put it in a bag and handed it to me. Horrible experience

Ok. Listen. If you want a home-cooked breakfast like your grandma use too make. This is the place. When I say everything was perfect. I had the breakfast special( grits, my eggs over medium bacon and toast).

This place has become great again it appears that it’s new ownership same name same great food that they used to have fried chicken is awesome I have what they call the stir fry veggies awesome got to go and check it out. And by the way I couldn’t wait to eat so that’s why the pics look like they’ve been eating. It was just awesome people just awesome

While the experience during the visit wasn’t the worst. The aftermath is what is getting the 1 star. For the second time my mother has had her card compromised after leaving this restaurant. Either the same patron has skimmed the card both times or it’s someone working for the restaurant. What I found odd while paying is that the waitress went from one machine to another. At minimum card information isn’t being protected enough at this establishment. At worse, an employee is stealing customers card information. Either way, I would caution you to be careful while visiting this restaurant.

The kitchen is on point with the food. Liver n onions as it should be. Roommate likes the pot roast, chicken livers. I like the turkey n dressing, Lima beans perfectly seasoned and cooked.

We came here based on the reviews. Was disappointed with our waitress and the food. I ordered the pancake (pancakes were rubbery and sausage was disgusting waitress did not give me my eggs) breakfast, my son ordered the wagon wheel and hubby ordered the fish dinner. Waitress got all our orders wrong! Do not recommend!

Great food, but this local eatery has seen better days. The Seat Yourself method used can mean that people who arrived after you are given menus and order before you. Decor and carpet are archaic. They do have a variety of coffee mugs which are assorted and give a home-y feel. Other than that, the food is good, the prices are modest, and the servers are friendly.
