While I would recommend the chef salad, burgers, and fries, I would not recommend the cornbread or mac and cheese. The cornbread was lacking in flavor, and the mac and cheese just had a strange flavor. While I find it odd that you can’t get fries with your burger, without an up charge, they did offer large portions and a bag of potato chips. If you’re looking for a mom and pop style restaurant, this isn’t a bad place to stop.

If I were rating this experience purely on the meatloaf, it would be a slam-dunk 5 of 5. However, I was not the only one dining and meatloaf isn’t all I ate. My mashed potatoes came with gravy on them after asking for no gravy and man am I glad they did. They were dry and flavorless, so the gravy made them edible.

The burger was delicious. Fries were well seasoned. The atmosphere was nicely decorated. The only bad thing was that I got coke instead of Dr. Pepper.

FYI, I have only had breakfast here, but it has become my regular. The food is good and consistent. Local owner. Clean (and I mean clean) interior, warm home-like atmosphere, a small simple diner-like menu that offers just a few small twists on standard classics, inviting staff, open concept layout, professional looking kitchen, affordable prices. It’s like if mom’s house had a diner. It’s literally what the area needed.

This little gem of a local eatery is tucked back in Low Moor, near I-64, but I never would have found it if I wasn’t searching for somewhere to eat. I was pleasantly surprised!

Great burgers. Super tasty homemade fries. My wife’s chef salad was top notch. Good service with a smile. American fare with a genuine small town feel worth stopping for if you’re into that.

Passing through route 64 I just randomly stopped at this place and boy was it good. It’s so good that I will be back as I travel across i-64 again. You better get there yourself and enjoy this fine dining establishment.

Our hamburger steak was raw and they didn’t want to cook us another nor did they want to refund some of our money back for them.. it had blood coming out of it. The lady that rang our order up was rude also. But the other food like the baked potato and greens were good and I like the atmosphere.

After driving almost 500 miles and not wanting fast food I picked this place over a nearby diner bc the reviews were slightly better. But what I ordered was awfu, the fish dinner. The fish just wasn’t good. It was a big tastless piece and they should go with quality over quantity. Tatar sauce was no good. And I got a double serving of macaroni and cheese and that was GOSH AWFUL. It’s Ike the Walmarts great value version of kraft macaroni and cheese sold in the all in one box smh. And even the cornbread was subpar. I feel like I just wasted my money. But the atmosphere of the restaurant was GREAT!!!
