Family Table is not family friendly. I guess it’s not okay for a just under 2 year old kid to spill water on himself and get upset for a bit. Some old lady that probably hates kids didn’t like the noise so she cussed at my wife and kid to be quite. My wife told her not to talk to them like that and that he is a child they get upset sometimes. Old Lady calls my wife a bad word so things escalate a bit because my wife isn’t one to just take things. Either the owner or manager comes out to defend the old lady and said she has every right to tell them to be quite.

My son started crying because he spilt water on himself. A customer started to aggressive to my son. When I told her not to talk to my son that way she started going off on me. I told her that I wasn’t afraid to escalating things if she continued to talk to my almost 2 year old child that way. The owner came over defended the old lady and said I needed to stop defending my son because it’s his restaurant and he’s trying to run a business.

Such a comfortable diner-like setting with table service. All-you-can-eat fish during Lent and Sunday buffets too. The onion rings are amazing! Lots of midwest fried deliciousness.

Great service by the individual that welcomed us and our server. The server was top notch and was very helpful and attentive. That’s where it ended. The food ordered was either undercooked or burned. Scrambled eggs are supposed to be scrambled, not a flat pancake style of egg that was kind of rubbery. Toast was burnt so that wasn’t eaten, and the hash browns were so undercooked I had a hard time eating/chewing it. Just totally underwhelming. Don’t think we will be back.
