This family restaurant was one of the best that I have had here in Hawaii. Their plates allow me to choose 4 among various side dishes, most of them are vegetables, so it makes me feel like a real Hawaiian when having them. The photo that I posted here is chicken katsu. It is great, but I personally found it ever better if you choose to have the garlic shrimp as the main dish. The owners are super friendly and super nice. They recognized me when I came back again before I am about to leave Hawaii. I am pretty sure that I will come to this restaurant again if I can visit Hawaii again next time. Mahalo & a hui hou!

I have never experience such a bad service in my life. The lady was showing disrespectful behaviour using her mother tongue i.e. Korean (unfortunately I am able to understand it) when we made a small order and was trying to use our voucher (from Qantas for delayed flight) for payment instead of using our normal credit card. She refused to scan the QR code for voucher even though the option exists in the tablet. I will never come back here again, especially during my holiday in Hawaii.

This place was AMAZING! I had the Regular Spicey Chicken with both Cucumber and regular Kimchi, broccoli and cabbage. The chicken was very tasty and the kimchi is fairly authentic. I spent 2 years in South Korea and this is pretty close to authentic Korean kimchi. It does not taste like it’s fermented as long as authentic Korean kimchi, but it is fermented. The reason I mention this is that a lot of restaurants serve an American version of kimchi which is just unfermented kimchi with kimchi spices. I like both styles but prefer traditional style kimchi. Good place, food was quick and tasty, staff was very nice.
