Weeknight Kitchen has been such a wonderful find at our house over this last year. I started ordering on a referral from a friend and loved it so much I soon became a pickup location. Meals are fresh, warm and ready to eat right when you pick them up. There is lots of variety, no commitment as you can just order whatever weeks it works and my whole family (including 2 small kids) love it!

Innovative concept: weekly prepared family meals that you pick up (typically from a designated house in your neighborhood) and eat immediately or (for frozen meals) whenever you like. Great value, and — while probably not a great option for health-nuts — wonderful dishes our family usually loves.

Love the convenience of picking up meals ready to eat for the family and all the meals have been great as reheated leftovers the next day. We usually get 2 full meals for 2 adults and 2 young kids so great portion sizes. We also appreciate they attempt to keep the meals on the healthier side by not overdoing cheeses and oils. Paying and pickups are super easy.

I tried Weeknight Kitchen for the first time last night. I was hesitant for awhile but because I just want to cry when I feed my kids because of their pickiness and my lack of good cooking skills I finally caved. I picked up our meal, brought it home, and it was the best dinner experience I’ve had in years. All my picky eaters were happy with what they were eating, I wasn’t worn out from a long day and dreading cooking, and we ate at the same time and table for once in a long time. Dinner last night was what dinner is suppose to look like and the food was delicious. We are busy people, this is a huge bonus for our family. So glad I tried it, thanks Weeknight Kitchen.

My husband decided that on Wednesdays, he’d buy lunch for the office staff. I was tasked with fetching food and feeding 15-20 people each week and trying not to do the same ol, same ol every time. We have a strict, no national chain policy for these meals. Enter FamFare Kitchen. We had tried their heat and serve food before and enjoyed it, but I didn’t want to have to reheat food each week for a couple dozen people. Yeah, once word got out that we were serving hot lunch, it’s amazing how many field employees just happened to need to come into the office for tools. I called Libby and explained what we were doing and boy, did she deliver. The first week we had chicken pitas with rice pilaf, salad and fresh brownies and chocolate chip cookies. Next up was Salisbury steak, and the guys went NUTS. I have a feeling we’re going to need a bigger conference room. This is quality food, well prepared and best of all, we’re supporting another SSP business. This place can’t be beat for catering and meals on the go.

Super awesome place to buy homemade meals to-go. The food is made with love. Many different meals to choose from each week. Use their website to order ahead and choose a pick-up spot.

Famfare Kitchen is a terrific community resource that provides options for hot meals and frozen hot dishes for local families. All of the menu items are terrific, but I especially like the Perogi Bake and the Garden Salad with home made ranch.

Such a pleasure to support such an amazing small business run by great people. The ordering/pick-up process is hassle-free, and a hot-and-ready meal on a weeknight (that isn’t junk and that kids actually like) makes my life so much easier. We love, love Famfare nights! And leftovers!
