It may be connected to a convenience store but the food is definitely worth stopping in! I love the gyro platter with rice and grilled veggies the most but everything we’ve tried has been delicious! Food travels really well to-go too!

1st time trying this place, overall it’s good, not great! We ordered spicy feta ( not pictured) which was good and comes with a side of pita. Chicken Shawarma on rice with Greek salad and tzatziki- which was really good! The portion for the chicken was good, but not spicy at all. We also got lamb Shawarma the lamb pieces were burnt and tasted burnt, the veggies were burnt and very small potions. I will not get that next time. They are located right to a gas station, they have a place to sit and eat. But it was not really clean. The drink machine had ants all in the knobs of drink dispenser, and ice dispenser. Very tasty food and friendly establishment. Highly recommend the sampler platter. Great babaganush and hummus. Damascus bread and grape leaves were so good. One of the better grape leaves compared to other restaurants in the area. Falafels were nice and hot with great flavor. The shwarma was tasty and the lamb gyro was good as well.

For a quick and great experience I recommend Falafel King. It’s food is always quick and good. The spiciness is undeniable. It is just a corner mart style restaurant so don’t expect fine dining. But every time I have been here I have enjoyed the food and the service is excellent. For quick Shawarma, Greek Food, and Lebanese good this is the place to go!

Simple place with delicious food. It is right beside the gas station.The falafel with hummus and chicken with hummus were extremely fresh and tasty. They topped it up with veggies as requested and also gave us hot sauce on the side. The bread that came with order was hot from the oven and stayed fresh until the next day. Special shout out to Ruby who helped us figure out how we could customize our order and kept it ready with a quick turn around time.

Simple but excellent Mediterranean cuisine. Glad to have a quick stop lunch spot to grab a gyro right near downtown. The service was good and the food was even better! I got the lamb gyro with the chickpea salad. Would’ve included a picture, but it was gone before I had a chance!

The sampler is Vegan minus the Taziki sauce. Sooo delicious. It was definitely a good choice. Their grape leaves, which I usually don’t like, we’re delicious. I highly recommend. This is one more Vegan option for my fellow Vegans. The babaghanoush…..delicious!

If you’ve lived in Columbia a few years you know that many things have been on the corner of gervais and harden since they added to the gas station. There’s a reason Falafel King has been there so long. The food is amazing, the service is excellent, and the prices are really good for the current economy. Overall an excellent experience and my only regret is not trying it sooner.
