Falafel Hut (est. 05/14/2021)
(in Santa Rosa )
We have now expanded to our 2nd restaurant, which also happens to be located on Fourth Street located in downtown Santa Rosa on the same block as the Russian River Brewing Company. Please stop by to say hi and enjoy some very scrumptious food. 🙂
Established in 2006.
Falafel Hut in San Rafael opened its doors to the public in May of 2006 in a small tucked away former Dairy Queen location. It has since expanded and has moved two doors up the street into the former Red Boy Pizza. Falafel Hut has a very loyal and established client base. San Rafael welcomed us with wide opened arms after the first bite of our world-famous falafel sandwich.
Based on 173 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 4.6 stars. Price $$

Great experience and very testy food. We came for ifter in Ramadan. They offer extra food on house for the whole family. The staffs are very friendly. Recommend to all. Definitely we will come back.

First off the food here is excellent. I ordered the Lamb and Beef Shawarma. Meat was seasoned perfectly, all around a great meal. What is extra ordinary is the service. The two young people who work front of house were so kind, patient and helpful. The owner is one of those people that you can tell just by looking at him he is deeply kind hearted, every action from him confirms that.

Another fine restaurant in Santa Rosa. Food here is very tasty. Portions are great. Cool ambience and great seats in an indoor outdoor patio. Many choices of Mediterranean dishes. Not to mention the baklava. Can’t go wrong with a cup of tea and a sweet tasty baklava.

Sat inside and our table had not been cleaned up . Food was pretty expensive for what it was.

The food was good, but I thought it was too expensive. I got the gyro. The lamb was really good, as was the tzadziki sauce. But it wasn’t wrapped in a pita, they split one apart and put everything in it “flat”. And it should have lamb, tzadziki sauce, onions and tomatoes; that’s it. This had no onions, little tomatoes, and lettuce! It tasted pretty good, but I won’t get it again.

Super fresh, flavorful ingredients! I’ve been twice already and equally happy with both experiences. Everything was delicious and the owners/workers are friendly. So far I’ve had their falafel wraps (I had the regular one my friend had the deluxe, both come “panini pressed”), the vegetarian combo plate, and pistachio baklava. Has indoor and outdoor seating available. I’ll be back very soon!

I thought I was in heaven for a second when I tried the Lamb Shank. It was so soft, and literally falling off the bone! The beef kebabs as well, were made to perfection.

I had a chicken-ka-bob. Nicely flavorful, worthy of bringing some home.

My wife and I had lunch here last Sunday and really enjoyed the fresh delicious Middle Eastern food at Falafel Hut. The complimentary rose water was fragrant and refreshing. We ordered a lamb and beef gyro plate, a chicken kabob salad and a side of falafel. The gyro was tender and well seasoned. The plate came with a crisp cucumber salad that was well dressed, a tangy taziki dipping sauce, yellow rice, some olives, pickles and some tasty freshly baked pita bread. The chicken kabob was nicely grilled and well marinated. The hummus was smooth and garnished with olive oil and paprika. The salad and made with fresh crisp romaine, tomato and red onion. The side of falafel was deliciously tender on the inside and had a nice crispy crunch, very well seasoned but not overly spicy. It was accompanied with a creamy tahini dipping sauce pickled juliennes beets, kalamata and green olives. I would definitely recommend it if your in the mood for some delicious Middle Eastern food.

I had the Vegetarian Combo Plate and every item was delicious. The falafel was crispy outside and tender inside. Excellent hummus and baba ganoush. Taboulleh and cucumber salads so tasty and yummy dolmas too. Worth a return visit.
