Nice little bar and diner. The food is better than the average bar. Prices are decent too. My Ruben was fantastic. My only complaint about the food is that the smoked wings are also fried afterwards. Smoked wings should be tender with a char grilled finish, not fried because it ruins the smoke ring.

We had never been to the Fairport Village Inn before. Friends suggested we take fish fries to go because it’s too cramped inside. Definitely is!!

I’m sorry I recommended Fairport Village Inn to people, groups. I won’t be anymore. Mostly my food here has been good, great even. But the shrimp & basil chowder was bland & I couldn’t find either, was mostly potatoes and the chowder thick liquid. The coleslaw was awful. The breading on the fish was dark & had a burnt taste; made the fish taste dry. The French fries aren’t as good as they used to be. The wine is overpriced for the brand & venue & the pour. service was so-so; she kept forgetting things & there were only 2 groups-a couple & the three of us. Last Tuesday I went there for my birthday with a couple people and had a Reuben sandwich which was quite burnt but still tasted good inside. Pass on by this place.

The food is homemade and of high quality. We are so lucky to have gem restaurants in Fairport. Food is absolutely delicious. One of the best macaroni and cheese around. The bacon in it gives it a great flavor. You have to be able to climb stairs but they have a grab bar. Be careful not to trip on small step up or down at door. Staff is very friendly and excited to share information on food and beverages. I’ve been there 3 times now and each waitress was great. Checked enough times to attend to needs. We will definitely be back. Wish we would have tried it here sooner.

Hate to say it, but I shared a meal with friends at the Fairport Village Inn and was quite disappointed with the overall experience. The food, the service and the atmosphere were all lousy. Three out of four people in our party left with stomach aches that lasted long into the next day. The service was horrible and we were left with no beverages, little food and no server in sight. The cobb salad was disgusting, with fake and moist bacon and spoiled ranch dressing. The chicken wings had more sauce than meat. The burger was a solid just ok.

Food not too bad, apart from a very undercooked burger.

I can’t say enough of how awesome my lunch here today was. I hope Ken is able to keep the outdoor patio area into the future, because it was great being able to enjoy their delicious lunch special Spicy Prime Rib sandwich while also basking in one of the first sunny spring days. Friendly staff paired with a swift kitchen and some cocktails made for a solid business lunch meeting. Will be back for sure!

After jumping from place to place on Saturday evening to find a kitchen that was open past 10pm we ended up at the Fairport Village Inn. Just a small group of 4. We grabbed a few drinks, ordered food from the bar and sat in a both. Food was great, service was wonderful and attentive. I ordered the “bacon wrapped balls” and the “Porker Burger”. (Topped with Pulled Pork, Ham, Bacon & and Onion Ring) With a steak knife in the top of it as they bring it out to the table to hold it all together.
