We come here almost everytime we’re on the Chain. Excellent food, very reasonable prices. Southwest Avocado BLT is delicious. Mango Shrimp salad special is wonderful also. Meatloaf Stack is huge! Beautiful view from the deck overlooking Fox Lake.

This place is a gem. I can’t believe i’ve never heard of this place. Very good food. Pricey but good portions ($75 for what you see in the photos. Ordered 2 ML only 1 Daiquiri) . The brushetta (8 pieces) is AMAZING. Our Waitress was very attentive and had great suggestions for drinks and dipping sauce for my sweet potato fries.

This hidden gem has been an important place to me for almost 30 years. If you are boating on the chain it’s worth a visit. If you are driving be mindful and patient with parking. It’s worth the wait. I highly recommend the Friday fish fry, it’s all amazing. One of my family members raves about the hush puppies. I love the fish.. The bartenders, waitresses and kitchen staff bust their butts and it shows. The inside has been remodeled recently and still has its original charm in tact. Well worth the trip if you haven’t been here.

This is the first time I’ve been there and I am glad I found out about it. The fishfry was delicious and it’s all you can eat on Friday. The service was excellent and the view was great. Reservations are accepted and they give veterans a discount too!

I really enjoyed my overall experience here. The host was pleasant and had a warm welcoming. We checked in, was given a waiting device but wasn’t told how long the wait would be. No biggie, didn’t think much of it. We grabbed a few drinks at the bar and waited outside at the sand by the lake. We waited about 45 min or so in total. The waitress was friendly, suggestive, and quick with service. The food came out quickly which was nice. I enjoyed my Carolina ribs. They were tender and the sauce was pretty good. Wife enjoyed her coconut shrimp, the chicken tenders were pretty good and my mother in law liked her salmon Definitely a place to visit but be sure to Google your way there, it’s definitely hidden deep in a residential neighborhood.

We had dinner there yesterday overlooking Fox Lake. The menu is filled with a variety of home style “comfort” food items. Two of us had the meatloaf stack and it was just great. Others had a chicken wrap and hamburger. Everyone enjoyed the food and service. Highly recommended.

We sat outside on the deck – absolutely fantastic view of Fox Lake. 15 minutes after being seated, our server, Alyssa, finally stopped by to get our drink order…by then we already knew what entrees we wanted, so we placed that order as well. She dropped off our drinks, checked back on us five minutes later (good job!), and then she didn’t stop by for another 30 minutes, even though she was serving other tables in the vicinity and even though our food came out within 15 minutes of us ordering it. Another server next to us was seemingly a rockstar, so we obviously had bad luck, getting stuck with an improperly trained server. Also, the food should be better – the fish was chewy, well, because it was previously frozen Alaskan pollock. They didn’t have any other fish on the menu….i would’ve loved some perch or walleye. I hope this place improves.
