This little gem was hidden. After a wonderful evening we stumbled upon Faaji for a drink. We arrived pretty early for the lounge scene at 8:30 in the evening but the staff was very accommodating with what they had available. The angel wing selfie wall was a hit with my party of 8. We were out for book club and were lucky to find such a friendly place to hang out. The booth size was perfect. It felt like a little bit of Vegas inside the perimeter. They have a live DJ, full Cocktail Bar, Hooka and a entree menu and also small bites. If you are looking for the best new place to hang out with your crew this is the spot, but maybe just arrive later…

Went here for an event and the service was rather slow. We eventually got our drinks but the drinks seemed to have been watered down. This place could be a really big hit but seemed average when we went. We’ll give it another try but it’s not the top of the list unfortunately. I will add, some of the food was fantastic and some of the others were average

Hookah burns out fast but great music and good drinks. They also need to figure out their hours. Always says open but most of the time it’s closed during those times. Would recommend for some good afrobeats but nothing spectacular. There are better lounges in the area.

I would have given this place 5stars but the restroom was nasty and one waitress was one of the worst I’ve ever seen. Instead of greeting us she was on her phone texting. Then when one of the workers asked her to help she had an attitude. It was very apparent she was not happy at her job. The other young ladies were very professional. I wish I would have gotten our waitress name. I just remember her being light skinned and always smiling. The rude waitress was Caribbean. The Dj was absolutely amazing! Jollof was on point! It was a great vibe.

What kind of business finds it hard to pay staff? They are users, they want to use you without paying you. They can owe you for more than a month. So disappointing for a new business.

Great Afro beats lounge in the ATL area. Only thing I didn’t like was you have to pay $240 for a bottle of champagne to sit in the booths. Or else you just stand. My crew and I are not big drinkers we just wanted a cool spot to hang. The waitress was kind enough to secure us seats at the bar. The suya is on point and the dj was great.

The food is ridiculously pricey. the tiny red snapper they gave me was $46. The atmosphere is nice. but the food is garbage and too expensive. had better food and better ambience. will not be returning.

Visited this lounge last weekend and I was wowed with the ambiance and hospitality. The food is so good; we had to visit again next weekend.

I did not eat I came late for drinks but it’s a great atmosphere in an African owned establishment… it was only standing room when I got there it was packed but I don’t mind big crowds especially when it’s safe… And I love African music so those who don’t want to hear the typical new age hip hop trash you will like this place
