I had no idea Ezells was in the area; I have been many times on the west side, I googled “fried chicken near me” and it was just a few miles away ( Moran Prairie). Cozy small Ezells with that delicious crispy southern style fried chicken. Good portion sizes, everything was hot, fast and delicious. As shown $16.87. Order an extra roll – soooo good

Very awful experience here. After what was supposed to be a 15 minute wait I went in to pick up my food and was nonchalantly told it would be another 15 or 20 minutes. Seeing how busy they were I understood and waited in my car. Went back in after 20 minutes and was told they were waiting on my kids meal. Waited 10 more minutes then I hear them tell another customer that they are out of the mac and cheese, then looks at me and tells me yeah so were out of mac and cheese. I asked why I was not told that the first time I came in 30 minutes prior and he said that they didn’t know they were out. After choosing another side I finally was able to leave and go home. I got my food home and discovered that they seemed to have forgotten to batter the fried okra I got. I called and told them that and had the employee proceed to argue with me about how they were battered and he would gladly send me a picture of the okra before it’s dropped. I offered to send a picture of what I received and that it was in fact not battered. He then tells me that he regrets even getting into the debate on if it was battered and what do I want him to do. Absolutely awful customer service and just overall experience. This is the fried okra I recieved.

HORRIBLE…bland, awful, overpriced. We got 3 small tender combos and the pieces of chicken in one meal were about half the size of the others. They were out of 4 out 6 of their sides—we ended up getting mashed potatoes and BBQ beans (because that is all they had). The beans were about 75% thin soupy liquid with about a tablespoon of beans and the “mashed” potatoes were just bland, hard chunks of severely undercooked potatoes with a cold and pasty substance I can only guess they were trying to pass off as gravy. The food here was devoid of any flavor. Prices are exorbitant for such small portion sizes of poor quality food with a glaring lack of quality control. Ultimately we broke our own rule ….we didn’t turn around and walk out when we saw only children working with no adults in sight.

I ordered a 8 piece family meal on the 22nd in person. My order was mostly wrong. I ordered all dark meat, half spicy, half regular and it’s not what I received at all. I got all white meat, no spicy and I don’t really like white meat much at all. I only received one dinner roll as well!! The side orders were not jumbo either! Rediculous! Your meals aren’t cheap, so I definitely feel like I am owed a whole new meal! It wasn’t busy so there was no reason to mess up my order. I was very sick with a chronic health condition that day and wanted comfort food,so much for comfort! I didn’t feel like calling to complain or coming back down there. More attention to getting orders correct is definitely needed! Thank you.

I called this place on a whim on the way to a picnic because I’ve lived on the South Hill for years and never tried it. I ordered over the phone and they said, “Give us 10 minutes.” I walked in the door 20 minutes later and they hadn’t even started my order. They were still able to get it together fast though, probably because there were literally no other customers there. I had to remind them to give me the drink I had ordered. Once I got to the picnic and opened the bag, they hadn’t included one of the sides I’d ordered (and been charged for) either. The sides taste like they had been frozen for two months prior. You can get better quality fried chicken from a grocery store deli. Very lackluster experience and not worth the cost at all, in my opinion.

I used to love this place. Driving across town to get some fried chicken. Tonight changed that.

I got the spicy chicken tenders and they where not spicy had no flavor and was dry. Could of got better chicken at Safeway for cheaper. Ther rolls are dry and very cold couldn’t even melt the butter. Will not be going back to this place.

Went here today. Informed it would be at least a 45-minute wait for any bone-in chicken. Additionally, they were out of most sides. I went with a 3-piece strip and corn/mashed potatoes. Total was $17.

You have got to be joking. Thought the first time was a fluke when it came to food quality and seasoning. Still the same and has not changed and not worth the $50 I paid to have 8 pieces of chicken, in which we didn’t get what we wanted anyway. Rolls were ok, creamy slaw was something to be desired, Mac and cheese was ok and we didn’t receive our food until 45 minutes after the estimated time of delivery. Also, they had to substitute the mac and cheese for mashed potato and gravy as they ran out. Definitely not recommended, you do you as we’re not going to patronize Ezell’s again. Don’t get me wrong, we love good food and good places to go, but this isn’t one of them.
