This is the first negative review of a restaurant I have ever written, but this dining experience was just awful. We were a party of 7 last Saturday night ( 5 adults, 2 kids) . We requested an outside table , but when we were called the hostess told us “it’s difficult for servers outside “ so we would need to be seated inside. I also had requested a birthday acknowledgment (small ice cream or cake with candle) for a member of our party and was told “no problem “ . From the start the experience was awful, they were out of several things on the menu. We were not asked if we wanted drinks . I tried to order 3 different beers and was told they were out of them. I asked my server what beer was similar, she replied “I don’t know “ . Okay, I ordered wine which was served in a juice tumbler. Chicken was not cooked through, coconut curry was mostly liquid, no shrimp etc When dinner was cleared the check was delivered with no birthday acknowledgment! I walked after the server and she replied “we don’t do that “ If I had known I would have made other arrangements! And to top it off a 20% service charge was added! I suggest spending your money elsewhere.

We’ve been a few times but the most recent time the food was really lacking. I ordered a salad and I doubt it was freshly made. It was ice cold and packed tightly into a bowl and it seemed like it had been made the previous day and left in the fridge overnight. Same thing with the shrimp cocktail, it seemed like it had been just pulled, already prepared, out of a fridge. My husband got wings and said they were rock hard.

Exit zero filling station in West Cape May has excellent food & service, however Exit Zero Ferry Station is the complete opposite. Ferry Station is making them look bad with the terrible food & service. We had a large group including kids. There were a lot of empty tables & waited over the amount of time that was promised. Our waitress disappeared & never came back to our table for 30+ minutes. We had to order our drinks at the bar, even though we had a table outside. After 45+ minutes of waiting for our food, someone at our table found a manager & our food was ready waiting in the kitchen. Our food order was incorrect after waiting so long. There is not enough staff & I thought the manager was a customer because she was eating inside at a table. As a manager I would expect her to make sure her waitresses are getting the food out & seeing if wait staff need help. Ferry Station should shut down the restaurant & keep the bar open. The manager did give us a discount on our bill , but I will not be returning.

It was our first time here.. We’ve been to exit 0 filling station & loved it there.We thought we give this one a try.. Our server/ waitress Carly was the best we ever had! She was Knowledgeable about the menu & drinks but her beautiful smile made it a great experience! We will be back! Thx Carly! ‍♀️

Such a shame, my son loves coming here to watch the boats and play on the outside playground, but the food always lacks and so does the service. They have such a great concept and space, but isnt executed well. Most recently, their menu basically got cut in half without any notice. We will continue to support the ferry grounds (and gallery), but not the restaurant.

I got the Hawaiian burger and it was really salty. Like it tasted like I was licking salt. I didn’t even finish it. On top of that.. I had to send it back cause it came out with only meat and the wrong cheese. The main thing that makes it the Hawaiian burger. It came back and they just added the pineapple. Also SO MANY FLIES!!!! Imagine where they are breeding at! It was so Annoying and you can’t tell me they aren’t in the kitchen, but everywhere in the nice clean seating area.

The shrimp in the shrimp penne is a great size and there’s lots of it, the sauce is delicious and the serving size is large, got to take half of it home! The service is excellent and the chef is very attentive to the customer’s liking. The manager, Christen, was great at ensuring a pleasurable dining experience, Thank you Exit Zero Ferry Station!!

Great physical atmosphere. Good service. Had bang bang chicken and shrimp. Tasty red curry sauce, scoop of basmati rice, very little chicken, 4 small shrimp not many vegetables so basically a bowl full of curry sauce and of course no naan. Could definitely use the bread to scoop up the sauce. Went back this summer (23) and they have trimmed their menu. They took off the menu the only thing I found interesting. Salmon filet sandwich. I am disappointed.
