Can’t wait to come back here again! Everything we ordered and drank was incredible! The steak was perfectly cooked. Everything was super flavorful. AND the staff were so amazing and attentive. Definitely worth the wait to sit outside in the back!

Sides were amazing, the 5-spice duck quarter was awesome. The duck breast was chewy and rubbery.

Used to go there a lot. Understand there are challenges in the food service industry but arrived early to make sure we would have a table for the 6 of us. Was shown a table that would fit our party. Came back and was crammed on a 4 top. They made no accommodations for the mix up, told us we would have to be put back on the wait list again.

Matt was making ribs on the grill the day we stopped by and they were delicious. The food off and on the menu was great. Not a bad word to say about this place. Local favorite and a great place to take friends and family when in town. Wish they had more staff to accommodate more people but I understand how hard times are. The crème brûlée with puff pastry and raspberry sauce was to die for! The chicken and ricotta dumplings was perfect, light and satisfying.

Everyday People Cafe is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. Great food, great service, great location. If going for dinner, start with some cocktails, then go for the tuna appetizer, and I personally like the pork chop as a main. They are frequently changing / innovating their menu. I really like their wine list, some good value priced bottles, and also some nicer bottles to splurge. They also have a great brunch on Sundays, can’t miss. They are GREAT at following COVID protocols.

My Hotwife and I have dined at Everyday People Cafe twice in the past three weeks. Both experiences were fantastic. Great food and service was spot on. Our first server Michael was pleasant and very helpful with the questions we had concerning the menu entres. Michael has been working there for ten plus years and very professional making sure we were satisfied. Tonight we had the pleasure of being served by Taylor and really enjoyed her as well! They do change their menu items every few weeks which makes it fun to try something different when we went back. Remember that when looking up their menu on line as we found it wasn’t updated. They have a QR code at each table to view the menu on your phone which is a brilliant idea during this pandemic. The only slight negative was they do charge for three rolls. Yet not worth knocking off a star on their review. The cozy outdoor seating on the back patio with the lights in the trees prompted a romantic experience for us . We’d like to try some other establishments in Douglas/Saugatuck. However, I’m certain we’ll return to the Everyday People Cafe!

I almost left before ordering because the process seemed high, but then what prices aren’t? Went a little lighter than I normally do and was impressed with the tastes and variety of what we ordered. And two desserts. We will be returning when we are in Douglas again.
