We had heard so many things about Everlina’s before we were finally able to get by and try them out. Hubby had the BBQ chicken with mac n cheese, baked beans, and peach cobbler. The mac n cheese and beans were absolutely amazing, he said the chicken was good, he just wishes it had a little more kick to it. I had the chicken wings (buffalo mild) and fries. I’m picky about my wings, but these were perfect. They are fried, but not overcooked like some places. The sauce had the perfect blend of zing without being overwhelmingly hot. This is definitely a restaurant that we will be adding into our rotation, we look forward to trying the burgers, ribs, catfish, and chicken tenders.

We ordered our food from Door Dash. Door Dash was wonderful, however the food was not. My husbands catfish plate said it came with hush puppy’s and it didn’t so we called up there to let them know they were missing and the woman RUDELY informed my husband you don’t get hushpuppys when you get it by door dash. This was nowhere on the menu. The food wasn’t worth the $61 we paid for it and we will not be going back there again!

This restaurant is one of the best kept secrets in North Alabama. The food was awesome. I had the Barbecue Chicken and wife had the wings. The baked beans and Macaroni and cheese was very good. I HIGHLY recommend this mom and pop restaurant and plan to return soon to try those ribs.

We’ve driven by Everlina’s numerous times since they opened and today we finally stopped in for lunch. As I sit here writing this review, my belly is still digesting the delicious ribs, collard greens, mac & cheese, baked beans and apple cobbler (all for $10!). The cook and his wife were confident we’d love our meal and they were absolutely right. Generous portions, fresh food, fast & friendly customer service, and a great price…what’s not to like? We absolutely enjoyed our dose of home cooking and will definitely be back! If there’s a better meal in Hazel Green, I’d like to know about it.
