The finest fine dining experience I’ve had so far (granted I’ve not been to that many but still). We went here for my friend’s birthday and everything was just amazing. The decor, the lighting, the ambience, the furniture, the attention to detail during service, the presentation, the complimentary tastes between the drinks (non-alcoholic) and the items and the unique flavors we experienced – everything was spectacular. It was an 8 drinks + 10 course meal and although we didn’t absolutely love every single thing (given that we were already going in with very high expectations), we were very impressed with most of them and they all tasted very very good. At the end, we were pleasantly surprised with a kitchen tour!

Absolutely loved our experience at Ever. Chef Duffy and his team have done an amazing job building this place and it will be a 3 Michelin star’d restaurant before long. We were able to dine here and then Alinea then next night, and both experiences were different but equally exciting. Ever holds up! Surpasses in some ways.

Despite the fairly low number of reviews, I decided to try out Ever, and I am thankful that I did. Ever was one of the best culinary experiences I’ve had, and I’ve dined at several Michelin-starred restaurants, including Alinea. Although I was dining alone at Ever, I wasn’t treated any differently, and some of the staff and I had the occasional banter.

First of all, let me begin this review by saying I had a wonderful time at Ever. For the past couple of years I have been traveling around the US dining at different Michelin starred restaurants and Ever was #8 in Chicago area and #40 in total. I must say Ever was the best one so far in Chicago area and easily top 5 among all in my humble opinion.

Outstanding experience. The service was perfectly choreographed and attentive. However, they didn’t give off a stuffy or formal setting, just that everyone knew their role and did whatever it takes to make your experience better. The hostess noticed my wife was a bit cold and brought over a pashmina for her to wear.
