I eat here at least 3 days out of the week. I have had the pasta, gizzard plate, fried chicken, salad,and also breakfast from there menu. Everything I have ate taste great and I love that it is all homecooked. All the employees are very friendly and helpful.

We only had the breakfast so far. The French toast and breakfast meats were good. The scrambled eggs with cheese were undercooked and they also had shells in it. I loved that they gave us free cupcakes, it was a nice touch. However, they taste like they were maybe in the refrigerator for too long and the icing is really hard. I’m willing to try again though!

Truly awesome food…from the salad to the chicken pastry and the chicken salad that my wife and I shared. I also tasted one cupcake that had a Oreo on it and let me say I could’ve had several more…seriously it was just that good…and the place…wow it was clean and inviting. I ordered a chicken sandwich and had to cancel the order 35 MINUTES later because it was still not ready. The food looked good but the service is incredibly slow. The café had patrons at only three tables and the cashier told me it would take 5-10 minutes. Not going back unless I have all day to wait.

We ordered cupcakes Frome them and it was awful. I guess by homestyle they mean a broken home. They were super dry the frosting held only the faintest flavor and it was like a solid sugar block. I only received half my order at 2 dollars a cupcake I would have expected better then something that tasted stale and store bought way over priced on the philly as well

I ordered my son’s birthday cake (half yellow/half red velvet with buttercream frosting) from Genese and omg SO GOOD! I love her food and this cake did not disappoint! I would’ve given 5 stars, but I waited for 10 min at the wrong location and then had to drive somewhere else to pick up the cake, only to get there and discover his name was spelled wrong. She corrected it right away, but I should’ve received a phone call for 1) asking me the correct spelling and 2) to let me know the pick up location had changed.
