Great atmosphere and space. Really enjoyed the food and options available. Smaller outside patio seating and comfy interior good for smaller groups. I would have given this a higher rating however when the server asked if we “had eaten here before,” and we answered no that the add on prices and options could have been explained. It was a bit deceptive that everything on the menu has a price except the add on for the french toast/pancakes when getting an entree. After asking the server when getting our bill they brought the menu over to show small print on the back (which still didn’t show the add on pricing.) Good overall but you shouldn’t have to worry about semantics when ordering.

My favorite person and I went to this cute spot in Wilmington, NC. She had the eggs Benedict and I the hot honey chicken biscuit waffle. The kitchen was superbly run by delightful staff. I wasn’t able to meet the chef, but they definitely knew how to prepare a meal, and I thank you. The waffle was a delightful liege with a perfect crisp. A delicious sweet sauce with a delicate spicy seasoning. With a side of potato wedges lain on a Chipotle hollandaise sauce. Beautifully prepared by a culinary artist. The eggs Benedict was expertly made, one of the best I’ve had. I also had a side of eggs over medium. One thing I look for is how a chef presents eggs over medium. The chef did not disappoint with the eggs perfectly crafted, whites cooked fully with no browning and yolks evenly saucey. Eating my delightful culinary artwork while listening to great modern alternative music really started my day right.

Needed to grab a bite before going to the Assistance League next door. Wandered in and was pleasantly surprised. They are only opened to 2pm and we got there a little after one. We were thinking lunch, but it was actually a breakfast/brunch locale. Two of us got the pancakes with bacon and scrambled eggs. The eggs were cooked as ordered. The pancakes were fluffy definitely from scratch and made with care. They were diabetic, so they had to settle for sugar free syrup instead of the specialty syrups on the table. I got the dippy pancakes. They were also fluffy with candied pecans and candied bacon. The peach sauce were enveloped on top of the pancakes to mimic poached eggs. You broke the thin outer layer and the sauce oozed down the sides of the pancakes. Some of the most delicious food we have put into our mouths. Truly decadent. The last of our party just got a biscuit and the roasted potato wedges from the a la carte menu. He loved the grilled biscuit and the potatoes were seasoned well. The portions were so generous, he actually helped to finish some of the other’s pancakes. The value you for you received was a deal. Everyone was friendly and helpful-even at closing, when most people would be rushing to finish the day. A definite gem in the area.

By far my favorite place for breakfast! It is a small place. For that reason sometimes there’s a wait. It is worth it though. I love the Eternal Benedict ♥️ My daughter always gets the Mickey Mouse pancake. Yesterday my husband had the Caribbean Illusion and loved it!

We came in for brunch one Saturday and had a nice meal. It was a small space, but we only waited a couple of minutes for a table. The staff was kind and kept our drinks filled, which is always much appreciated! Our meals were not life changing, but they were good, and I would eat here again for sure. Be prepared to spend $20/person for breakfast, though.

Gluten-free menu (with gluten-free french toast as one of the options). The food was delicious. The staff was very nice. Allergens are taken seriously here!

We were on vacation in the area and stopped here because I saw Gluten Free Options. The food was good and they give you a big portion. Super nice staff. They also have Turkey bacon and Turkey sausage!

We stumbled across this from a review on Yelp. It was absolutely wonderful. We could not stop umming and ooohing as we ate. Usually 2 very yacky women were quiet as we ate our delicious breakfast.

We recently had brunch at the Eternal Sunshine Cafe on a quick trip to Wilmington and I can promise you it won’t be our last time visiting this place. The service and food were both excellent. We were greeted with a friendly smile and our server was attentive and friendly as well. The food came out quickly and was perfect. I got the Southern Belle Benedict and would definitely get it again. If you’re looking for brunch you can’t go wrong here.
