I just had coffee and it was great. Staff was amazing, great attitude, day and friendly service. Small indoors, if you need AC. Large shaded outdoors with bar (they are open until 9-10pm). Also additional outdoor seating (with umbrellas for side) by the koi pond complete with fish and waterfalls… Clean restrooms. Saw ready to eat packed salads and sandwiches, as well as some pastries.. Perfect spot to take a break.

This place is a gem of the Northshore in Highlands Nj. The lunch selections never disappoint. I order the Ham & Brie w arugula and honey mustard. Ham is a guilty pleasure that I only have once in a while bc of the salt content but Etal’s sandwich is not overly salty. It is tender and perfectly balanced with the Brie. I also enjoyed the freshly squeezed lemonade. My friend ordered a chicken salad which she also thoroughly enjoyed. The atmosphere was relaxing and breezy. No one rushes the patrons out. There are self seating tables in a covered area and in a sunny section with umbrellas available. The perfect spot for a lazy late summer lunch. I also highly recommend the cocktail hour that we have taken advantage of on other occasions.

Et Al is the place in town to find delicious grab-and-go heat-and-eat meals. They are also able to heat a meal for you! There are two small tables indoors that are almost always available when it’s feeling cool outside, but they are launching their outdoor cocktail bar this month. I went to the soft opening for the cocktail bar and I’m going to be a permanent fixture there this summer. If you’re someone like me who really enjoys craft cocktails made from fresh squeezed juices with rosemary sprigs & fresh fruits (without any sour mix nastiness) then this is the spot. Outdoor seating includes a bar with a relaxing waterfall and koi fish pond. Steps away from the Seastreak Ferry.
