I stopped in thinking I’d grab lunch and head out of town, but since it was a little too early for lunch, I stayed for the breakfast. It was very filling. The biscuits and lemonade were my favorites! The service is very good too! I look forward to eventually trying their lunch menu.

I found a Groupon 50% cash back offer and tried this place out. That was 5 months ago. I now go once a pay period, if not once a week. I usually pick Wednesday for the liver n onions. The owners are the cooks and they are now my extended family. They treat everybody like family. The food is standard soul food, which is rare in the area. Love this place.

Always an excellent experience. And now that the daughters have taken over it’s become even better. Get by here as often as you can and support a great local business.

Yummy!!! My meal tasted like it was made with lots of love! Everything tasted fresh and seasoned well-not bland nor salty!! I will definitely be back. It’s a good thing I did a search on local eateries or I would have kept passing by it.

Delicious. Collards and baked chicken and rice. Baked chicken was tender and smothered in butter. Crispy skin. Yum.

It doesn’t look like much from the outside but the food and the relaxed home style atmosphere is a whole lot! Food hit the spot! Grits cheese eggs salmon cakes beef sausage tea lemonade fresh coffee seating for about 50 people clean rest room. Great personalities. I was impressed. And oh yeah! The prices are just right to keep coming back! Some who had visited the day before, said the ribs were right spot on! Worth the trip.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast this morning. The staff was friendly and the food was just like a home cooked meal. Priced reasonably. The only reason I’m not leaving a 5 star review is based on the interior needing quite a bit of updating. Overall, good experience and I’ll be back.

Love, Love , Love this place. The food is delicious and the customer is amazing. You’ll feel like family as soon as you enter the door. I love the salmon cakes for breakfast and the turkey wings for lunch. Definitely stop by… you won’t regret it !

I went for my 2nd visit and perhaps the cook was having an off day but everything was very SALTY (had a veggie plate). While Soul Food is known for being seasoned and delicious, the cooks need to be careful not to go overboard especially for those who have high blood pressure and other chronic diseases negatively impacted high sodium intake. Taste the food first before serving it to customers! Also, make sure you have enough food to get through lunch hours (11am-2pm), especially for your most popular main and side dishes- on both visits they have run out by 1:00 pm. I’m giving them 3 stars because my first visit, the food was good- just have to keep seasoning consistent and make sure they have enough food popular main and side dishes.
