Let’s start off by saying how great the service and people are. The decor makes you feel right at home when you step in. When i moved from nyc I tried dozens of pizzerias looking for that authentic NYC Slice and could not find it. Today my day was made when I googled best pizza near me and this place popped up. I got a large pie and 2 orders of wings crispy. They even had Dominican soda which points to all things being perfect. The Food delivered on all aspects and they now have a regular.

Since our first time eating here our family has stopped eating pizza elsewhere. We love everything we have from here. My personal favorites are the chimi, buffalo chicken, vodka, oxtail, spinach & artichoke, and pepperoni and hot honey. All of these are must tries and I recommend them to everyone! They always have really good music, videos, and even movies playing. The staff is always welcoming and accommodating. It is definitely worth your time to eat at the restaurant. My boyfriend’s family loves the pizza so much, we have to bring them their own pie every time. We plan on going back today.

Owners and employees are very very nice, welcoming and understanding if you want to change anything about the orders you make. Since I’ve had Essex pizza for the first time I haven’t had any other pizza. Every time my girlfriend and I go there we have to bring a pie of different slices home to Staten Island to my parents. I recommended Essex Pizzeria to everyone I know and they can agree that it’s one of their favorite spots now to go or to order from.

They were nice enough to accommodate a late night order, which I very much appreciated! Phone girl was very nice as well. However, I did not find any of the food good, at all….the wings were awful and had no taste and got tossed along with the sandwich that was really not good either and was burnt. Kind of bummed I wasted my money but now I know for next time.

Stopped by here on our way back South. We didn’t want to go through NYC area to grab some NY pizza. The pizza was fresh, thin crust and DELICIOUS! Even my picky eater loves it!!!! It was definitely the BEST PIZZA! And their Empanadas were also great! Just the dough itself, no words can explain.

Ran inside to grab a slice and was given a slice on a plate. I asked for a box and was told no I advised I was in an Uber so I needed something other than a plate or greasy bag please then the gentleman who took my order and another gentleman from the back began yelling that the box is big and 4 slices are required for a box. The pizza is pretty tasty but the customer service is trash !!!!
