Definitely the best seafood place to go in Manhattan! The Lobster Roll is the best I ever had, also happy hour dollar oysters, crab caviar and lobster garlic noodle are amazing! Service is very good. Perfect for an afternoon drink and dinner with friends. Great value for money.

One of my favorite South East Asian spots with a menu that keeps you wanting more. The fries with their secret spices is amazing. The happy hour pricing (dollar oysters) is definitely worth it for the food. Other highlights include the clams, skewers (lamb is a must), crab fried rice, and the fried Skate wing!

The fresh lobster roll (Vietnamese style) is amazing, and they give you a pretty good portion. We got the lobster combo which included lobster bisque (pretty tasty with a bit of a kick) and some delicious seasoned fries. Service was prompt. Not too expensive as well for what you get. Great experience all around!

The Asian fusion lobster rolls at @essexpearl sounds like an awesome idea and I had to try it! This time I got the Thai flavor since I love Thai food and green papaya salad as well The Thai flavor isn’t too strong, so the papaya doesn’t overtake the natural flavor of the lobster. Lobster is a good chunky size, and the bread was super buttery and tasty. Even the chips are properly seasoned, not the cheap Lays that most places serve. Doesn’t look big but I was happily full after eating this!

We had the BEST experience here! Everything was delicious, the service was great, and the atmosphere is amazing. Sit at the counter to get the full feel and chat with the chef and staff about your food. Ask for recommendations and ALWAYS use the sauce given. Every dish is clearly thought through to the nth degree and executed well. The drink menu has been crafted to perfectly complement the feel and flavors as well.

Visited the Essex Pearl shack today and can say I will definitely be returning soon! The shack just serves up lobster rolls, a few sides, and their super refreshing watermelon lychee calpico slushee. Their restaurant offers a lot of more options but I was in it for the roll. The person working there was so friendly, down to chat with us and explained everything that goes into their food. The lobster roll itself was so fresh and the flavors worked really well together. Even my friend who isn’t a big mayo on lobster roll fan enjoyed! Everything is made in house right down to the potato chips that came fresh out of their oven. Really great experience here!

This place was awesome. It’s located downstairs, at the bottom of the Essex Market and it is a treasure. We had oysters, pork belly skewers and the crab fried rice and everything was so delicious and perfectly cooked and seasoned. The drinks were also good and the service was excellent.

Love essex Pearl. We usually come here for Happy Hour since they have 6 oysters for $6 so $1 each. The drinks here are also well crafted cocktails and they usually have an off menu item of the week you can just ask about.

Food was good with especially with the fresh crab and lobster! Service was not great though as the waiter missed not one but two of our main dishes (would have given an additional star otherwise).
