Great service with delicious food and a cool decorative atmosphere. They have a large patio and a small side patio with a pretty waterfall outside. The vibe feels like an old world pretty Mexico city. The 3:00 pm – 6:30 pm happy hour is good with $6 margaritas and sangrias. They also have $7 happy hour house wine. They offer happy hour “bar bites” but they must be ordered and eaten at the actual bar. I wasn’t very hungry, so I ordered the roasted corn bisque soup (cup) with a side of their cilantro lime rice. The soup was wonderful and I added the rice to it for extra filling. Their rice is my absolute favorite of all Mexican restaurants. It is so different and delicious. I’ve been to Escalante’s several times and I am always pleased with my experience. They have delicious beef fajitas I have tried in the past, and had I need hungrier, I would have ordered those again. My total for 2 white wines, 1 sangria (both happy hour prices), cup of soup and side of rice was $33.12 without tip. Excellent place for great food!

Perfectly adequate food. Though slightly bland. Even when we asked for spicier sauce for the chips, still not particularly spicy. They signature guacamole was too chunky with things and not enough actual avocado. Shrimp tacos were good. Nice service and a nice space.

Everytime I come to town I make a point of dining here. Always fresh, friendly fast place to great a meal. Fresh chips and the salsa is just right, not to spicy or mild… perfect. See you next time I’m in town.

Brunch on Sunday can’t be beat! I had Tulum Tacos with scrambled eggs and chorizo for only $13. Big avocado slices! and came with salad on the side. My husband had Los Cabos Tacos. They subbed guac for the eggs since hubby can’t eat eggs. Very accommodating with wonderful service! Great place for brunch!

Their soups never disappoint. Always friendly hostesses and energetic wait staff are inviting every single time I have come into this establishment. I have tried their flautas as well as their tacos. Each dish as been delicious and they have been consistent with their ingredients being fresh.

This is honestly one of my favorite Mexican places. I’ve been here quite a bit, including getting it from door dash. Everything always taste so delicious! My go-to order is always the shrimp enchiladas. I could eat these every single day! They also have my favorite queso. And everyone is always so nice!

First time here and loved it! I had fish tacos and two margaritas the waitress recommended. Service was absolutely fantastic and the atmosphere is awesome. I personally loved the bull head on the wall by the restrooms, being a cheesy out of town tourist! Highly recommend and also nice outdoor patio to enjoy. Great shopping in this outdoor area as well.
