7/31/23 First time trying this spot. The burgers were excellent and super tasty!! The service was great and served with a friendly smile, which is always a big plus. Will be returning. Father keep and continue to bless this establishment. ❤️

Was recommended by one of my fiancés co-worker to stop by and get the Captain Burger. And I might say great choice. The only bummer is that we cant eat outside… its to go. We parked in front of a near by HEB to eat. Hehe! Good food all the way! Coming back when we come back to Brownsville, Tx.

Snow cones and Hamburgers. You can’t go wrong here. This place has been here since I was a kid, I’m about to hit 50. Omg, this is a really good burger. Way better than In-n-out burgers that’s for sure

Oh my gosh!!!! What can you say about Ernies. This place should be a land mark since it has been around for ever. The food is exactly how I remember it from when I was 7yrs old. I love the burger and fries but the frito pie is pretty awsome as well. Ernies is a one stop shop for burger,hotdogs, ice cream, snow cones, raspas, etc…. If you are brave enough try an Ernies Burger HUGE Burger with 4 meats.

Best burgers ever, love there frito pie, they also have raspas. I just love it here. This place is a family business and everything is just fresh, homemade, and just delicious. I recall coming here since I was 5 years old, 28 years ago and come back every time I’m in town.

Love their burgers! I called ahead for the first time to place my order and it took only about 10 minutes for my order to be ready. I got a double cheeseburger large, double cheeseburger small, and 2 small singles. Meat is thin but very good. I’d say they’re better than Rutledge They’re ice cream cookie sandwiches are also yummy and inexpensive. About 75¢ I think. And of course they have a bunch of other snacks too.
