It was my first time eating at this restaurant. I ordered the Saganaki and the lemon rice soup as an appetizer. Both were delicious and came out at a reasonable time. For dinner I ordered the steak and it was amazing!! Hope to come back again to order the desserts!!

Food is very good. Excellent and friendly staff. My favorite item on the menu is the village salad. Their beef tips are probably the best I have ever had. A lot of people come on for the prime rib and lamb chops. I stop in at least once a week.

Food was delicious. They offer specials along with there standard menu. Prices were fair for today’s standards. Staff was super friendly and on point with service and orders. The atmosphere was fantastic very cozy modern feeling. Great for a dinner date or a night out with friends. I will be eating here agian.

Ernie’s surprised me! That does not happen that often. There was no wait getting seated. We sat indoors, but they also have outdoor seating. The staff were very attentive. When we were seated, the waiter brought out a loaf of their homemade bread hot from the oven. Yum! The food was excellent. I had a chicken BLT and enjoyed every bite! What surprised me was the size of the sandwich! It has to be the bigest sandwich I have ever had! I ate half and was stuffed. Their homemade potato chips drizzled in honey were great. My wife had a Traverse City salad with grilled chicken. The cherry vinaigrette was divine! Again we were surprised with the huge piece of chicken that came with the salad. Next we ordered Key Lime pie… Wow, talk about a tasty treat! Another home made item that tastes just like mom use to make! If you’re looking for an upscale place to take someone special to, consider going to Ernie’s. I am sure you’ll be as pleased as I am with the food, the service, and the atmosphere. I definitely will be coming back to try their other house specialities.

Food was delicious BUT it’s about the whole experience. I wanted broccoli, the waitress said that would be included but if I wanted green beans that would be a $1 up charge. So then she came back and said it would be a $5. up charge, Seriously?? I paid $24 for one piece of salmon and $5 for broccoli, a side is supposed to be included. As you can see I didn’t even get green beans!! They also have closed the really nice dining room on the side where you can see the kitchen. It was so much nicer before! It’s not the fancy Ernie’s that we’ve been to before it’s more like a sporty Art & Jakes now. It’s sad because we really liked them. I’ll pass from now on!!

Food was honestly terrible. Water tasted bad. Drinks from the bar tasted really weird. Super over priced and the bill was insane when we got it. Service was average definitely never coming back. By far the worst meal I’ve had in the area living here my whole life
