We are long time residents of Snowflake and this was the first time we had been to Enzos. I’m going to start by saying that the food was amazing. We spent a lot of money overall. The place was clean and open. The owner is the host, waiter, and the cook. The wait was long but it was well worth it. If your in town and want some great Italian food, ok with a wait, ok spending some money, and don’t have kids then Enzo’s is worth it.

If you are looking for great Italian food in a small town with few good dining options, visit Enzo’s Ristorante Italiano. The menu is extensive with a nice selection of authentic Italian food. Although, I selfishly wish for the addition of Tortillini Gorgonzola. The owner worked alone as the host, waitor, and cook. However, the appetizer, salads, and entres came out in a well timed manner. He claims to make everything from scratch, and the flavors back that up. If you are pressed for time, you may want to order ahead and take out. Our total time there was just about an hour, but we were the only dine-in patrons during our visit. The prices are a bit higher, but mostly in line with the quality and portion sizes. The meals were presented well, and were delicious. The owner was friendly, and attentive, and as any good waitor, he tries to upsell. Just make sure you decline the offers for additional ingredients, or an appetizer if you don’t want to be charged extra. Tip was automatically included (party of 3), and a several dollar credit card fee was charged, neither of these acceptable practices in my opinion. However, our overall experience was great, and Enzo’s is definitely a place to try out for authentic Italian food. We will be back.

Very, very good Italian food. The chef does everything himself so be patient for your food to be prepared. If you get there too late or there are too many people you may not be able to be serviced. The food is well worth it, however.

I know Italian dishes well, and this is just okay food. Owner uses way to much cheese to allow for flavor. The kicker… Is the price of each dish compared to the amount of food served is extensively HIGH! Small dishes, enough to fill a person up I guess? My date and I ordered the lasagna and baked ziti, with small side salads, bread (don’t know if the bread is complementary?) 1 order of mottzerella sticks and 2 waters… $79.79 !! Being my first time having dinner there will be my last time as well. I’ve had the opportunity to dine at a few 5 star Italian restaurants in the states… However this place is no 5 star! Its pasta (inexpensive flour product) , enough cheese to assume a person is receiving more then enough and the herbs and spices I’m sure are not imported from Italy!… I know the restaurant business very well as I had a vey successful small partime catering business in Phoenix on the side as my fulltime employment in state government with an enforcement agency? My brother-n-law is Italian, straight from the homeland of Italy. When i told him about Enzo’s prices of his okay tasting dishes and small portion … My bro-n-law laughed and said… Maybe he’s a distance cousin of John G! For the $79.79 I paid.. I should have had an Italian singer singing, better decor, gold plated silverware, a candle on the table, a checkered table cloth and more customer’s in the restaurant ( my date and I were the only 2 ppl there, now i know why?), Oh and Enzo didn’t even bring me a paper receipt? Mmmm wonder why? Trust and integrity is a must have in any business! I learned my lesson….So lesson learned, Never eat at Enzo’s again! Hope this helps others to be aware and read review’s!… If you want a nice atmosphere, great Italian dishes, great customer service and decent prices… Dine at the Pasta House in Pinetop…now that Italian!

We stopped in there for the first time recently, and on the door it clearly says, there is one person running the place so if your in a hurry, it’s not the place for you, we decided to take our chances. We got in and were seated by Enzo himself. He gave us our menus, and said he was going to make us mozzerala sticks, sounded good to us. He brought 6-mozzerala sticks which were very delicious. The menu was very pricey so we kept our decision making down to a minimal by ordering Pizza… we thought simple since he is a one man crew. We ordered our drinks, 2-homemade ice teas and 2-cans of Dr.Peppers… he informed us AFTER we ordered our pizzas that his menu prices have changed.. no big deal we thought. We ate our food was delicious… got our bill and nearly passed out by the amount owed. He charged us $13.99 for the mozzerala sticks which we didn’t ask for, $28.99 for each pizza which did not have fresh ingredients on… mostly can items. Still tasty none the less, and $12.00 for the drinks, and a $20.00 Gratuity. Very nice man, but extremely high in price, if you’re going to charge people for mozzerala sticks let them order them, and if your prices are different than the menu.. make that a point before not after the order… we wont be back… way too much for what you get.

Omg, my dish was extremely salty. The portions were descent size but anyone that knows how to cook can tell good quality ingredients from ones that cut corners. Enzos used poor quality ingredients, Ridiculously Overpriced and Definetly poor quality food. The owner seemed a nervous wreck, was not polite or friendly. Will not go back there again.

It is kind of out of place, this restaurant in Snowflake. Easily twice as expensive as any other place, it is only open a few hours each day. The proprietor is a forceful personality and makes it clear that the food takes time. I had a pizza and salad, which isn’t enough to judge an Italian restaurant, so next time, I will choose a different dish. Intriguing.

There’s a good reason, why on. Saturday night, you don’t see many customers at this restaurant. The food is excellent however the proprietor is like the “soup nazi” ………he does everything by himself because no one wants to work for him very long.
