Saved in drafts from a long time ago, haha: We sat at the bar and enjoyed the food, ambiance, and service very much! Now, from today: Grand reopening with a new chef. The food is still great! Henry (bartender/owner) and Carla (owner) are the best!

I had an extraordinary time when I visited this place with a close friend. The ambiance of the place exuded a welcoming and cozy atmosphere, making it an ideal destination for a delightful date. The customer service was exceptionally friendly, with our waiter offering helpful suggestions to guide our food preferences and choices. The food itself was remarkably delicious, leaving me eager to come back in the future! Overall, it was an outstanding experience, solidifying its position as one of my favorite restaurants in Brunswick!!! 🙂

Came here for cocktails & the kitchen was closed but they still had dessert. I really liked the build your own negroni! Get the olive oil/pistachio cake for dessert… it was unbelievably delicious!! Staff is super nice too.

We had a lovely time dining here last night. I was pleasantly surprised to get a same day reservation and we were asked if bar seating was ok. It turns out that was the best seat in the house thanks to Henry. It was fun to watch him create cocktails and he was so friendly. The food was delicious and the Alfredo was one of the best we have ever tried (and my boyfriend tries them all). I just realized that we dove into the Alfredo and I never got a picture). We didn’t have room for dessert but we plan to next time we visit!

Half the restaurant on a Wednesday evening was empty and walked in for dinner. Was turned away by maybe the bartender or owner saying they were at their capacity. However I was able to go on Resy and make a reservation for 15 minutes later, I wasn’t going to bother completing the reservation since it just seemed rude.

Always high quality, delicious food. Rotating, seasonal menu and always sad to see favorites go, but excited to try something new and leave with a new favorite!

May 2022 2 stars for cocktails. This is suppose to be bolognese. My second attempt at trying to like the food. My first dish taste like olive brine. The dish did have olives but the entire dish tasted like olives. Waitress got the appetizer wrong twice. We were actually laughing about it because we really do try to like the food as much as the drinks. But there food really sucks. They just serve dry pasta. Check out my photos. I swear I never took one bite. This is how little ingredients there are on the pasta. It’s hilarious and pretty cheeky because of what they charge. It’s lie a 1000 mark up for dry pasta

My husband, our 1 year old son, and I went for an early dinner at Enoteca Athena this past Wednesday evening. We had been at the beach all day and our son had missed a nap. He is usually great at restaurants if we go early enough but I think the day’s activities had worn him out. He was playing it off well and acting like his usual self for the first 20 minutes or so. We got drinks and ordered our food. But then started the whining. Which soon escalated to all out tears. We attempted to placate him with a couple of toys we had brought, and even by putting his favorite show on one of our phones (on mute of course). It was no use. We were headed straight into wailing territory. We alerted our waitress (bummed I can’t remember her name, she was wonderful), and let her know we’d need everything to go. We had JUST received our appetizers. She was as gracious and understanding as could be as I whisked our screaming child outside so my husband could wait for the food and the bill. Hubby emerged from the restaurant a short while later (I think they even sped up the cooking of our order!) and let me know that someone – the waitress refused to tell him who – paid for our entire meal. I could be dead wrong, but something about it made me think it may have been the owner. Whoever it was, was probably just glad to get the screaming kid out of the joint! We took our food home, everything was ABSOLUTELY delicious, and we were oh so grateful to everyone at Enoteca Athena for treating us so well in a rather stressful and embarrassing situation. But I’m sure we’re not the first parents to go through this
