Why we waited so long to try this place is beyond me…. This place is a must try. We absolutely loved the breakfast. Guatamalin breakfast was such a hardy start to the day. Highly recommend. We can’t wait to them again.

Had plans to have dinner with a old friend and we were undecided on where to eat. I normally scroll through google to find something new or unique. After being informed of a 1.5 hr wait at Bellflower, we decided to give Encuentro a try. I am so happy Bellflower had such a long wait as Encuentro was successful in providing a delightful meal. I have horrible taste in design and decorating so I will make no judgement on the physical appearance of the restaurant. Quite frankly I was here for dinner not an ambiance.

Went for the first time today. They have really done a great job of making over this little restaurant space. The food was excellent. The service was great. The server gave us samples of juices when we were unsure. Loved it. Edited to add:. Was there again today, a year later, and everything is still outstanding. Love the papusas.
