Update: crawfish is still bomb here. Fresh and full of flavor. Highly recommend Em’s sauce made up of garlic, white onions, green onions, butter, citrus, and spices. Delish!

If I could give this place negative 5 stars I would! I was so looking forward to trying something from here as i LOVE Viet-Cajun style seafood. The food from Em’s was TERRIBLE! The fish and chicken wings were CLEARLY fried in old grease and overcooked. Zero flavor on the wings AND there was a very strange aftertaste. On top of everything else It was soaking in grease – YUCK! It’s not edible.

WARNING WITH CAUTION: DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE!!! On July 14th, 2022 around 12:30 pm I ordered their lunch special shrimp fried rice. I went to pick it up and rushed back to work before my meeting started as i took a couple of bites, low a behold the most disgusting and horrible experience, the shrimp was NOT CLEANED AND TINY LEFTOVER EGG SHELLS IN MY RICE. I immediately stopped eating. It was a big turn off, i kept picking out all the shrimp that were bad. Which was about 70% of the shrimp that was in my rice. I called the resturant back to speak the manager. The guy that previously took my order over the phone told me the manager was not there. He insisted on trying to sort things out my giving me 50% off my next meal. I told him NO that does not solve anything and I will not be ordering anything out of that kitchen ever again! I asked when will the manager be there, he told me he does not know they just pop in and out whenever at anytime. He gave me an email address to send a message to the manager of my concern. As I did later that day around 3:40 still to this day no response. Their prepping and cooks in the kitchen are not sanitary. I get sick real easily. There is no exception or excuse for this. The company and the management should be ashamed of themselves. Me personally If i was the manager I would be concerned about my kitchen cleanliness, storage and sanitation protocols and procedures. What if I was a secret shopper or someone that worked for the state health department and you serve this level of customer service and food. To me this means you just serve your customers anything. No wonder why its never too busy or a line out of the door and a parking lot full of cars . Because your service and hospitality SUCKS. People please if stay in this area or want seafood period please go SOMEWHERE ELSE!! not this place. I use to come during the pandemic because they were new. HELL NO…KEEP DRIVING, SAVE YOUR $$$ IN YOUR POCKET FROM THIS PLACE, I’VE WARNED YOU!!!

To say that the food is great is an understatement. Its amazing!! I’ve been here a few times and I swear it gets better and better each time I go. This is Em’s Platter with the Em’s sauce (I think that’s what its called) Mild. You can get it as spicy as you want. I added mushrooms. The shrimp are enormous!! I was in Heaven!! I moved from the area and its definitely one of the things I miss! I had only just found the place a couple months before I moved If you love seafood, you have to try this place. The staff is great as well.

Not a fan of their regular fried rice (my husband enjoyed it though) but everything else was so delicious. The staff was wonderful, the decor nice and bright. Will definitely be back again

This restaurant has the best boiled crawfish. The garlic butter seasoning cannot be beat for flavor. I got the “Nancy” level of spiciness…my mouth was burning the whole time, but so satisfying.

When the owner use to operate this place by herself, this was the go-to place for great food. But since about a year ago she’s been hiring high schoolers who can’t operate a simple cash register, let alone get your order right or even out on time. I have to say this place does have great crawfish but unfortunately it’s more of a headache to deal with the kids that work there.

A little expensive for the portion – about 14$ for just 3 shrimp, fish, and fried rice. I felt like it could have either been served differently to make it appear larger… but when it comes to value this resturant has nothing to write home about.

Used to eat here all the time but stopped after buying crawfish that was cooked mushy (dead). Went in again to try them out and they are now charging a higher price than what’s listed on the menu. 6pc checked wings listed on menu for $6.49 but they actually charge $8.59. When I bought it to the attention of the cashier, she pointed out to me that in Micro print on the bottom of the menu it states that the prices are subject to go up. I think it’s strange that they only tell you that after you catch the up charge….use to be a nice place to eat
