Great food. Not greasy. Best rice in Manchester. Food is always fast and affordable. The offer coupons right on the menu and never give an issue taking them. They also have a rewards card. Ever $27 spent you get a punch, 7 punches gets a free meal. I’ve never heard of a Chinese food spot having a reward program. Normal options. Fast service! I drive across town to come here.

One star, because they not only missed two items, they shouted back at me for not being clear over the phone. And whomever has ever called this place would know how ironic that statement is. I asked for 4 large orders of rice with 4 shrimp dinners. They packed two, saying it would have been $6 more, which I already knew and was paying for. Next, I have guests at the house, $80 worth of food, and missing rice. I had to go back to get $6 worth of rice, that they made sure to say 3 times over the phone that “remember, we will not give this to you free”. I went back 5 miles, paid for my rice. No apologies of any sort.

They are very rude. My food was cold when it arrived. Ordered more than one meal & I asked them for extra duck sauce & stuff & they didn’t put it in the bag. With no utensils also. They dont even deserve this one star. But I guess you have to select something.

I’ve ordered house friend rice from here before as well as other places, no complaints. This time, you couldn’t tell if I had ordered vegetable rice instead. I call, they want to haggle about it. Chinese places are a dime a dozen, there’s one everywhere. You want to haggle about giving a repeat customer who never complains a problem. Wow. Bad business. Just wanna take take take and screw the customer and food. I feel like it’s a scam.pork fried rice has more meat than what they gave.

I have been going to Empire kitchen for many years and have found the food to be delicious and very consistent unlike many other restaurants I no longer eat at. If you eat there regularly, they get to know you and often will correctly guess your order ( or ask, ‘same thing?’ ) which always saves time. All employee’s are very friendly, professional and genuinely seem to care about the customers and I hope to be eating there for many, many years to come!
