One of the nicer and slightly upscale Chinese restaurants in the area. Over the years I’ve eaten here a number of times and never have been disappointed. I favor their crispy House special Pan fried noodle dish. It has beef/shrimp/chicken/pork and a plentiful mix of chinese veggies. All served in a very flavorful brown sauce and nested atop the crispy noodles. As an appetizer they serve a nice mix of pickled cabbage and bean sprouts along with fried wide noodles and a sweet duck sauce. Plus a pot of hot tea. Complimentary desert of pineapple chunks, orange wedge and fortune cookie. Service is attentive and efficient. It’s BYOB with a liquor store directly across the street.

Consistent with their quality. Service is commendable. One of the few best Chinese restaurants in the area that serves good fried rice. The egg foo young was fresh, light yet filling and flavored nicely. Pork dumplings in peanut sauce is a unique dish here that is not sold at most Chinese restaurants.

This is no longer a jewel on Cedar Lane. The ambiance is cheap and shabby. Plastic table cloths have replaced the former cloth table cloths. The menus are now a sheets coated with plastic and no longer include some of the exotic choices of yore. There is no tea served either at the beginning or at the end. The food is mediocre to poor. The won ton soup is no longer a rich chicken broth, but a brownish broth with won tons that are small and falling apart. I order shredded pork with broccoli. They do not know what shredded means. They served long wormy pieces of meat that were tasteless. The sauce was all I could taste. There is nothing inviting or warm or welcoming about this place. I will not go back.

Awful. Tables on top of each other. Tacky plastic tablecloths, paper napkins, no tea, floor under table dirty with food and paper garbage, won ton soup was brown…not yellow, shredded beef looked like fried worms with no taste, chow mein fun greasy/oily, no orange slices and pineapple at the end of the meal. Had to ask for fortune cookies. This place has certainly changed since being bought. This visit was a definite “One and Done”. !!!

My son and I stop to eat at this restaurant yesterday. What we ordered was ok, but not the best. The tea pot was dirty and the tea was tasteless and not even warm or hot. The rest rooms were dirty both men and women with no paper towels or soap to wash our hands. Don’t understand how they got 4 stars. What a disappointment. Will not go there again.

I literally just left this place. I just went because a couple of family members were going it was my first time. I ordered the vegetable pineapple fried rice and I’ve ordered this multiple times from other places and absolutely adored it. It looked and tasted different here. I took one bite and knew that it was disgusting and I hated it. It had raisins in it and it had a different consistency. I basically wanted to throw up after one bite. I told the lady that it didn’t taste good in my opinion but I said it in a nice, tasteful way. She let me know that, it doesn’t matter. I’m going to be charged for it anyway. She didn’t care that I was not going to eat it, I WIL B E CHARGED. So, I basically just walked out and went to VEGGIE HEAVEN down the street. Their food is wayyyyy better. I will pay for the nasty dish I was served when I get back. Anyway, don’t go here, go to veggie heaven. Their food is way more delicious anyway

Decided to go after many years living out of the area. Walked in last night (Friday, about 6pm) There were two ladies eating, absolutely no staff to be seen. We rang the bell, still no one came after a few minutes. We noticed how badly the carpets needed cleaning, and then noticed how sticky and dirty the menus were. We left.
