The food at Empire Express is absolutely delicious! We used to order it delivered regularly until we moved outside the delivery area. This was the first time we’ve ordered and eaten at the physical restaurant. It’s a very small location, not terribly welcoming. I don’t think they get many customers that eat in house. But the staff were extremely kind and friendly. We will definitely return in the near future. This has always been our favorite Chinese food joint in Northern Colorado. Highly recommended!

So I would like to say. That I am highly upset that I brought close family from Texas. All the way to Laporte to eat Asian food and it was the most disgusting thing I’ve ever eaten in my life. I left my plate on the table. I’m going to attach a picture. Please tell your cook that he or she needs to try harder. Not acceptable. Not at all. I will give you one more chance and I will come in and eat once more so I can try to leave a positive review but this time it was unacceptable.

I’ve ordered here about 4 times, each time late at night (within the last hour before close), it’s been fresh and great quality and the owners/cooks are always nice. The sweet and sour chicken and sesame chicken is top notch and their Lo mein with chicken I can have as a meal on its own. Great prices as well. Highly recommend if you like Americanized Chinese food!

Have been there 4 different times. Not good food. Lacks flavor, the veggies are never really cooked. Very small portions for the price. This last time they stuffed the rice in one of the entrees and the other on the little take out box. So one entree was even smaller. That was the last time I order from there.
