Would highly recommend Emmy Squared! We got the Caesar salad and it was an exceptional Caesar, not sure how else to describe it. Drinks were great! Also the Big Ang is my new favorite pizza. Amazing combo with the banana peppers and all the cheese they put on it is great. AND they brought us (unprompted) an entire new pizza to go because they felt like the first wasn’t cooked to their standards! It was a tad burnt on the edges, which didn’t bother us. But the Manager came out to deliver us a new one and was so kind! Our server, Hafez at Navy Yard, made dinner really fun too! We have loved this spot for awhile (perfect mix of a deep dish that’s not too bread-y) and really love the new menu.

Hafez you rock! A million votes for you, thank you for being you. We had an excellent time, loved the open garage door atmosphere, spacious but plenty of places to sit, nice bar. Pizza was excellent, cocktails were great. Brownie was ok, a little over cooked. Servers and team were super nice. And the bathroom was very clean. Overall I recommend for a relaxed meal in a cool spot.

So was disappointed, been meaning to go here for a while then went with 2 coworkers who also wanted to go. Was treated by our waiter who had an overwhelming smell of pot, brought us our drinks then forgot about us for about 15 minutes. Eventually came back and took our order, and then came back and took our order again when he forgot parts of it. Food came out, but pizza was over cooked and just ok. It reminded me of Pizza Hut with the same taste and consistency, definitely not worth the price. Our waiter had disappeared and a different lady finished serving the table, she was very nice and helpful. Probably won’t be back, if I do might try something different.

We just had the best pizza and experience. We were a large party and the service was fast and efficient. The food was delicious. We had a Detroit native in our group and it was approved! Debbie was a wonderful manager and so personable – she entertained our kids and was so sweet! We had the classic, big Ang and MVP and a yummy burger. We’ll definitely be back! Exceeded expectations!

The pizza was delicious! The server was really nice, and had a second pizza made for us when they messed up the first one, and we didn’t even have to ask. One pizza + breadsticks to share between two was plenty. The dipping sauce was also amazing!

Not a true Detroit-style pizza. I’m from Detroit so I’ve frequented the OGs like Buddy’s and Clover Leaf which are truly specular, but for those eating this under the impression that it’s Detroit style, you are missing out. Also, I can’t believe it costs $20 for a personal sized standard cheese pizza—it’s so thin and barely any crust. A true Detroit style has a thick, fluffy crust and crispy edges. I’ve ordered this twice now and have had the same outcome, so I don’t know if it’s Emmy’s recipe that’s off or cook/chef error if they’ve never had true Detroit style to base it on? Great concept to bring Detroit style to DC… they just need to step it up and get their crust right.

Shout outs to George, Lindsey, & Richard! Made a visit on Aug. 5th party of 4 & had a good time. The food was great & the customer service was wonderful. Awesome team, very nice, personable, & considerate. The only thing I’d suggest is making the entrance area more open. From front to back of the house & bar, the staff delivers exceptional food & service. Definitely a win! Support this location

First time here and it lived up to the hype! From the cheesy breadsticks to the pizzas and the burger everything was finger licking good. But nothing beats the top tier service we received from Lisa, while there where other guests she made us feel like we were the only ones! Would and will come back.
