I ordered the honey old bay wings with 2 sides (mac n cheese, candied sweet potatoes). The wings were to die for. I really wanted to try the black gold sauce but the chef said it’s spicy, so I did not get it. Honey old bay was perfect. The wings were fried to perfection. I really enjoyed the mac n cheese. It’s definitely a taste of his own. The candied sweet potatoes weren’t sweet enough (for me), but they did taste good. It comes with sweet potato cornbread, which I wasn’t a fan of. I also ordered the red velvet cheesecake brownie. Didn’t like it. Other than that very clean spot, food was ready on time, friendly owner, and tasty food.

Came here for the r and b brunch. The atmosphere was fun and the dj was good. It’s also byob so that’s a plus. The menu looks good too and they offer other foods not listed on the menu. The problem we ran into was the extensive amount of time it takes for your food to come out once you order. Never is it ok to have people waiting almost a hour and a half for food. And when half of the food came out it was lukewarm. The owner accommodated us by removing some of the questionable items that had to be sent back from the bill.

Everything was delicious and well prepared. I had the salmon stuffed with crab and cabbage with carrots. My husband had the fried catfish, collards, and sweet potatoes. There was also a bonus yummy muffin to go with our meals. I will definitely be going back. The restaurant owner was friendly and gave great customer service. I hope to join them for brunch next month. They are definitely break my diet worthy

I’ve ate here twice. First time I had the short ribs for brunch and the stuffed French toast. The French toast was delicious, but the short ribs were a little too salty for me. The second time I had the jerk chicken wrap, with sweet potatoes, green beans, and a cup of gumbo. The food was good but the gumbo was also too salty. Overall, I will still go back. I can’t wait to try the pork chops and cheesecake

The food at this restaurant is so delicious . I got turkey wings, rice and collard greens and couldn’t have been more pleased. The wings have so much flavor and the greens are seasoned just right! It reminded me of my grandmother’s cooking. The catfish is delicious and the macaroni & cheese tasted just like something your mother would make. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants really good soul food.

First impression of the restaurant clean but the counter had silverware on it alot. Our food bag was also on the counter. Friendly man greeted use. We ordered pork chops,sweet potatoes and green beans we got can sweet potatoes and salty green beans and the pork chops were hard and covered with gravy that wasn’t ask for. The next order was fried catfish the batter on the fish was hard and plain the fries were full of greasy oil. The cold slaw had a great taste. And the last of my 46.00 dollar order was lake trout was great the yellow rice was good.over all the food was nasty 1

Recently ordered the Jamaican Jerk Stuffed Salmon and turkey wings. For $30 the portion of salmon would have been okay if it were stuffed with more than a teaspoon of crabmeat. Major let down!!! The turkey wings were kinda stiff and dry. Also a major let down since I’ve had them before and were good enough for me to come back. Don’t want to be let down again so sorry Emily’s gotta spend my money wisely

This was our first time at Emily’s and it did not disappoint. I had the Turkey Wings with Yams and Greens and my wife had the Loaded Catfish with jerk sauce Mac and cheese, gumbo and rice. The food was worth every penny we spent and we will be back this weekend

I should have taken a picture of my plate before I ate it. I got the turkey wings with collard greens and green beans. WOW! Big portion sizes for a great price and the sweet potato cornbread was straight fire!!! Highly recommend.
