Better than it should be (compliment). Out of the way, roadside restaurant you could probably pass a million times. Old house converted. Live soft music. I’m guessing a local favorite. Food borders on upscale. Wild mushroom ravioli was excellent. Drinks were professionally made. Not cheap $. Very good for this neck of woods.

Loved this place. Group of 22 for mother’s 90th birthday. They were so accommodating and the service was excellent (Jill). Carl the owner is a pro, great communication. We have been going there for years on date nights and family events. Great guitarist and atmosphere. Thank you so much.

Very nice , casual place. Very good food. Reasonable pricing. Nice staff. Proud but pleasant , appreciative owner. Cute bubbly high energy bar tender. You won’t be disappointed. It’s on a remote road with not too much around it so it’s a very good place to stop if your a local or just passing through. I sat at the bar and it was full of salt of the earth types. Like the bar in Cheers !

So nice to return to Emily’s after a two year absence. My niece and I enjoyed a light meal of beretta, deliciously prepared with a tomato and vinaigrette and toasted roll, and I, being keto, was able to order the Mohnton Salad. Chicken was tender and tasty. Candied walnuts, apples and cranberries made this salad almost a dessert. Great seeing Carl and staff. Miss this charming restaurant…

This is my favorite restaurant in Morgantown. The rooms are decorated in the turn of century style and has an interesting history. Be sure to ask Carl about the history of Emily. The new chef has added variety to the menu. My Fillet Mignon was delicious.

I always love going here for special dinners, you know birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, etc, the food is EXCELLENT. The food never disappoints. The history is worth the visit alone, but then you throw in the food – PERFECT EVENING!!! I never remember to take a picture of the food because it doesn’t last long.
