I was disappointed with the overall taste of the food. My husband and I visited on a Friday afternoon. We ordered the pulled chicken sandwich, mac n cheese, sweet potato fries, ribs and pulled chicken combo, pulled pork nachos, and hush puppies. Out of all that, we would recommend the hush puppies and ribs. Everything else was just okay. My husband didn’t even eat his sandwich because of the lack of flavor. (He’ll eat just about anything.)

My husband and I ordered full rack of ribs, mac&cheese, coleslaw, potato salad, and hush puppies online. Order was ready to go when I got there! Ribs were outstanding! Enjoyed the sides as well. Holy Cats! My lunch was amazing. I’m here from out of town (San Antonio) and the warehouse guy recommended I try Embers BBQ. I’m sure glad I did. Had the brisket sandwich with coleslaw and had baked beans on the side. Living in Texas most of my life, I’ve eaten a LOT of brisket and this brisket was awesome. Food, atmosphere inside and outside the restaraunt was perfect. I recommend if you are staying in a hotel around here, you get to Embers.

This restaurant has stepped in to fill the loss of a long standing and much loved local bakery after that owner’s retirement. They big shoes to fill but only in the realm of customer service and cultivating relationships with locals. The food is very different for the most part. That said they do serve breakfast which is what I got today!

Ordered catering for a work function. Amazing food. Very generous amounts for the price. I loved their Lexington style sauce on the brisket and pulled pork. Their other sides (coleslaw, baked beans, Mac and cheese, cornbread, and fried okra) were awesome. The sweet potato fries were a little salty, but overall made for a wonderful lunch and I can’t wait to go again!

I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and french fries. The pulled pork was one of the best pulled pork sandwiches I’ve had in a restaurant. It was flavorful and juicy. The slaw was fresh. The bun was legitt and toasted. I did not put any sauce on my sandwich. It didn’t need it. The fries were crisp and fresh. Great lunch! I’ll definitely go back. Great to see a good bbq place in Southern Pines!

Undoubtedly the best burger in town (for $8.00), if not the state of NC. Pulled pork is excellent as well… also, the prices… for our town of Southern Pines which usually costs more for less, Embers is very reasonable and the portions are huge! Love this joint! Highly recommend!
