Finally had an amazing dinner from Ember! I won’t lie; the other two times I’ve been here have been very disappointing but this one was worthwhile. Started out with the baked goat cheese and peach salad and the fried green tomatoes with shrimp. Both delicious and very fresh. Then we had the poblano and cheddar sausage and the Alaskan halibut. Also amazing options! A lot of seasonal ingredients so tomatoes and basil flavors in the fried tomato appetizer and the halibut dish. We finished off with the toasted marshmallow ice cream cake. Would highly recommend all these options! Came later on a Sunday night so maybe that helped.

Ember has become my favorite restaurants and I will always recommend to anyone that wants a great meal! I always make sure to make a reservation right when they open. The staff is knowledgeable and such a joy to talk to. I love coming right when they open because everything comes out super fast, we get to know our waitresses/waiters, and see the atmosphere change to dim and busy. I usually never like vegetables from restaurants, but Ember knows how to cook them. I always eat them first! You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu.. it is all so delicious!

Been here about five times and every single time was amazing. The menu changes every so often, which could be a good or bad thing. Bad because, if you eat something you absolutely love, the menu is going to change. The good thing is, every time the menu does change, it is still amazing. Each dish is like a work of art. Not only is it pleasant to the taste buds, but to the eyes as well.

Finally went to this highly recommended restaurant last week. Unfortunately, we were not impressed! Too many inconsistencies with food service and atmosphere which is rustic, crowded and quite noisy. The chef has creative ideas, but they are not delivered well by the staff. The halibut I ordered was raw and mushy inside. The server took it back to the chef and offered a new piece of fish only to have the same piece returned after a little more cooking! Makes you wonder…no sincere apologies, no credit on the bill. Was later told the chef thought it was properly cooked all along!!

Ember’s food was outstanding, as ever. The chicken/pork sausage dish was delicious and the avocado/beet salad was scrumptious. My wife said the caramelized onion/goat cheese pizza was amazing – it looked perfectly cooked. Their classic dessert, the marshmallow/cocoa cake, was off the chain. And finally, our waiter, Bill, was outstanding. Just the right amount of attention, and lots of charm.

Their level of execution of each dish and drink is bar none for new American. It’s not super difficult to get a table if you at least call early day of for reservations for parties of 4 or less. Definitely a must try if you’re by the area or traveling through. It’s a destination place on my list

Ember is always an exquisite experience! The menu changes monthly so there are new and exciting things to try. They always have their pizza options, one of their signatures, along with steak, fish and poultry with delectable pairings of sides and prepared in creative and mouth watering ways.
