Amazing experience from the service to the food!! Our waiter was The best!! We decided to try a few of their cold sandwiches and went with the egg salad and the ham and turkey. The ham and turkey was by far the best cold meat sandwich I’ve ever had in my life! I would highly recommend food and drinks Embe. The coleslaw is great too.

Small bar with dining tables; great food and service. Last year in September, we ordered food very late as it was the only place still serving food at that late of night, and though it was just sandwiches, they were made well. This year we dined in and had a great experience and food. The soups were excellent and unique, and the sandwiches were very tasty with great bread from a local bakery. The server suggested variations for our drink specials that wowed us as well.

We first went into Embe as it is a location on Main St in Galena that serves food after most other kitchens have closed for the evening. The appetizer, sandwiches, salad and bread pudding we were served were so much more than we expected. Rather than a quick late night bite, we had a well prepared and enjoyable meal. They have a nice beer and wine selection. They also prepare really great cocktails. The atmosphere is very welcoming and casual. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be stopping in again.

Called to see if they were open and had bread pudding. We were told yes but they closed at 7 and last seating was 6:30, arrived at 6:23 and bar tender told us we were to late, order to go or get a quick drink. Very disappointed, food might be great but we would not know due to lack or service. I would recommend this place.
