The chicken and pork were a bit dry. Our cornbread was very cold, but very delicious. The bbq sauce was very savory. They had a great selection of pies. The venue could use some more upkeep but its built more like a carryout than a dine in. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

BBQ and a hell of a lot more!!! The building screams great eats with the smokers out front and the aged look. Chicken was juicy and very flavorful ribs are by the pound from baby to spare and even country tight and you’ll want more. You also get two sides I had chop collards which were gone in a minute tasty. Mac”n Cheese was homemade and perfect there are several more sides to choose from. The bread pudding slice was a great ending to a filling meal. Now to the bakery items 8 different pies brought home Banana creme wicked and a 6 pack of cinnamon rolls are all mine delicous a great stop when I’m on 13 stop there don’t miss it because I will until next time see ya soon.

The ladies at the front we’re all lovely people and provided excellent service ! Unfortunately that’s where the good of my experience ended. I purchased 10 wings brisket and half rack of ribs with green beans. The brisket was reheated in the microwave so it was dry and rubbery. The wings and ribs also had the same taste to them, however I didn’t see them go into a microwave. It just wasn’t good flavorful juicy BBQ that people expect. My favorite part of the meal was the green beans because they had the most flavor. I don’t live in the area so I don’t know if this was just a bad day or time (about 415 pm on a Monday).

1st lets talk pricing. Been to a lot of BBQ places around DelMarVa and this is the least expensive plave I have visited. For a half rack of of St Louis ribs and 2 sides it was $13.99. Large Drink $1.50. And the wonderful staff was altruistic. The woman tending to my friend and I even gave some extra ribs because she didn’t think this batch was meaty enough. They were just a meaty as what I would get from the grocery store. 1st time dining here and I will definitely be back. 8/30/19 at 11am they start a whole hog roast. Hog with 2 sides for $8.50. My friend had this and the amount of food is beyond generous. Best part is the flavor is amazing. The sauces are wonderful. Fresh baked goods as well. Had some pecan brioche and it was fresh , soft, and mouth watering. 45 minute drive for me but I’ll be back for sure.

You barely notice it from the road but take the time to stop by to pick up some of the best BBQ in the area! We enjoyed the ribs and pulled pork but the chicken and beef looked equally enticing. Homemade side dishes and desserts were also a treat. They also sell their own BBQ sauces so be sure to try them all and pick your favorite. We’ll be back!

It has been over twenty years since I last visited here. The people still wonderful and very caring to their customers. I brought the same meals I brought twenty years ago and it’s still TOP NOTCH. It will not be twenty more years before I return here. Thank you Ening’s BBQ for bringing back the memories.

Unfortunately, I don’t like writing these kind of reviews. Note: it may be the result of MD BBQ. I ordered st. lo ribs, brisket, potato salad and rice pudding. I would never order the raw rice and raw potatoes in their sides again (they’re both in the trash). Next, it takes a beaver to get the meat off the ribs and it has an old fatty taste (I am used to Carolina, TN and TX BBQ). ribs suck. I’ll try the brisket next. Good luck.

The chicken and ribs may be good, I don’t know, but the pulled pork was some of the worst I’ve ever had… texture of the meat was unpleasant and drowned in way too much sauce. Mashed potatoes tasted like bland instant, but greens we’re good.

The Carolina Pulled pork sandwiches are great, the heat sneaks up on ya! The chicken is great! The deserts are home made and really tasty, try the Rice pudding. Staff was polite and the Local Troopers always eat there so it’s safe for the family!
