We came in right at 11:30 around opening time and there was no one else inside but the worker. We ordered the beef pho and I ordered the beef on the side, it came out quickly and thankfully piping hot! The soup was strong in flavor but was light and not heavy like other pho places, it felt refreshing! The noodles were fine but the meat quality is top notch, the color is dark red and fresh. Definitely would come back again for a warm bowl of soup noodles

I love this cosy Vietnamese place in Bensonhurst. It is healing to my soul when I was dining in here. Comfortable, lofi music playing in the background, great selection of menu items. I ordered “Mien Ga” which is chicken noodle soup with glass noodles, shredded chicken, onions, scallions and cilantro. Put in the oyster sauce provided on the table and Siracha hot sauce = YUM! The ingredients are simple yet it taste so good. It is unlike any other Viet restaurants I had been to. The taste is just so special. Also ordered fresh sparkling Vietnamese Limeade, a delicious refreshing drink! The staff there today was hospitable, attentive and gentle spirited, making it a even more comfortable and relaxing experience in this restaurant. I highly recommend this place and definitely will come in when I need a cheer me up. It made me feel comforted and I feel I’ve found a new place to recharge my soul.

It is rare to find a pho place where you can drink the pho broth and it doesn’t leave you feeling extremely thirsty afterwards. Majority of the pho broths in restaurants have MSG but somehow Em’s is different (which explains why it’s pricer than other places). It blew me away when I tried their broth because it tasted something out of this world. The broth actually taste like a nice healthy soup and it is very flavorful. And actually, I learned from a Vietnamese friend that the pho broth should taste like something natural rather than having it contain crazy amounts of MSG. As for their garnishes (Thai basil, lime, and bean sprouts), they usually provide one small plate for you to share with those at your table. Majority of the pho restaurants I’ve been to would always give huge amounts of garnishes for each person that orders a bowl of pho. Considering the price that Em is charging for their pho, it would be nice if they were more generous with their garnishes.

I’m the BIGGEST fan of pho, and I’ve been to multiple Vietnamese restaurants in New York. Finally, I found my favorite place! I ordered the beef pho, and they put three different types of beef. It’s intense flavour and enough amount with diverse ingredients! It’s awesome and I’ll be back again! Thanks!!

My first experience here wasn’t great but I decided to give it another try. I’ve been coming ever since. My favorite place for pho in this area. I love their drinks and smoothies! The Castaway is my favorite and Summer of ‘69 is good too, you can taste it’s made from fresh mangoes. I recommend their Pho Bo Em. Their broth is different from the places nearby, and makes me feel so warm inside. I’ve tried their chicken pho, wouldn’t try again, I just prefer the beef broth more. Their braised pork ribs were good too, meat was tender and juicy. I DEFINITELY recommend their chicken wings, I loved the sauce and it was fried perfectly. Spring and summer rolls are alright here, I prefer another place’s. Overall, a great place for viet food. They should have more seats though!

Disappointing. First time here, I ordered the $9 “deluxe” Banh Mi and it looks so sad: no cilantro, no sauce, carrots & daikon and jalapeño are too large; they don’t pickle well, dry old baguette and the pate is almost non-existent. Their Pho probably good but i don’t like taking risks so good luck with that.

We were appealed by a recommended post on Facebook foodie group about Em Vietnamese Kitchen and the author said it’s the best pho he has ever had in NYC.
