One of the greatest steakhouses around. The food was superb and cooked with perfect temperature and mouthwatering flavors. We could not pass up the wine as it paired with perfection with the meal. Although a little higher in price, it is a must try for those who enjoy great food and top-notch customer service. Huge shout out to our waiter, Dragan. He was a 20 on a 10 scale for exceptional service.

Phenomenal experience. The service was top notch and they have the best steak tacos I’ve ever had. Their drinks were perfectly balanced. I’ll absolutely return next time I’m Vail!

Ordered the porterhouse for 2 and requested for medium rare, one side was slightly well done which made the beef really tough, we left a couple of pieces untouched. Service staff saw it and asked for our feedback, he offered us free dessert but we were too full from the meal so we declined. He didn’t have to do that so it was a really nice gesture. Overall seasoning on the beef could be heavier, as well as a better crust. Caesar salad/ bread with garlic butter was delicious. Ambiance was really nice, perfect for a date night or casual night out with friends.

Excellent service and happy hour food. The spinach artichoke dip was very good and the burger was cooked perfectly as ordered with a mountain of crispy fries. The steak tacos were great. Happy hour wines were decent and big pours.

Host was not very helpful and although i asked to be seated in the main dining room (there was room), was put into an overflow room that looked like a storage closet – for a $600+ meal, a bit frustrating – and i had the reservation for a long time – we were not walk-ins. There was one outdoor heater and our choices were freezing or boiling. The steak was just awful – undercooked and extremely fatty. Not a great experience.

One of the most disappointing meals I think I’ve ever had, due in part to how much we paid. The atmosphere was beautiful and the service was fine, but most of the food we had was actually pretty terrible aside from the steaks and the wine. I will say that our fillets were absolutely delicious and the bottle of wine that we selected was one of the best ones I’ve ever had.

Surprisingly…disappointing. The lamp chop appetizer was amazing, but each of the three pieces came cooked differently. One was well done, one medium, and one rare. We didn’t eat the rare. I ordered the bone in ribeye medium well, and it was prepared perfectly and it was delicious! My wife and son ordered (each) the filet, medium well. Each of their steaks came out rare. We sent them back and they were return over well, actually just burnt. The picture is of what we got back from the kitchen. We assumed it was a “f off” from the kitchen because we sent it back? We certainly expected more from what is supposed to be a five star steak house. In the end, we left hungry.

After years of outstanding dining experiences at Elways Vail, we were sorely disappointed in June and again last week. Ordered a bottle of wine, still sipping only water after 50 minutes. Wedge salad served with a raw piece of bacon draped over top, rack of lamb ordered medium, served raw, dried out and tasteless mushrooms (told waiter, did nothing to remedy). Too many other really great options…

Great steaks. And side dishes too. Good choices of bottle wine too. We arrived a little earlier before reservation time and were seated right away. The restaurant itself was cozy and inviting.
