Food here is decent and quickly prepared straight forward menu. Prices are cheap and portions are big. Rice has no flavor but the chicken sort of makes up for it. Not the best Portuguese food in the area but if your in a jam and need a lot of food quick and cheap go here whole chicken combo with rice and fries is a go to on nights when no one want to cook. Accepts credit card payments now and offers delivery

This is by far the best Portuguese food place. It’s small and cozy. Family owned business. Food is always fresh off the grill. Their green salad is amazing too. Must try. Only thing, is they only accept cash.

I stopped in for the BBQ Spare ribs (combo)!!! First time visit. This location was busy & does not allow indoor dining. I had to take my order to go. Also, they did not have regular BBQ sauce, on this day, only spicy BBQ sauce (which I declined). I was expecting the food to be bland…but I was surprised!!! Even without the BBQ sauce, the ribs were delicious!!!

Best Portuguese food in Elizabeth, NJ. You can call and order ahead of time for pick up. You can eat there but it is very small. Not really meant for dine in. Parking sucks but manageable. I recommend go with a driver so 1 person can stay in the car just in case it has to be moved while the other gets the food

This place made me so sad. I want here for my lunch break since I was craving Portuguese and it was just bad all around, first once I got there they said cash only so I found the nearest ATM. Once I tried the food it was so tasteless; The chicken tasted/smelled like pure chemical, the rice literally tasted like white rice and corn with a pinch of salt, and fries tasted like they had water in it and no salt on top but they were soggy (it’s hard to describe). I was very sad when I had to throw away the food because it’s very rare that I do.
