BEST cupcakes ever! We ordered two dozen chocolate/vanilla cupcakes from Ellen’s for my daughters birthday and they were spectacular. The sponge was moist and soft and the buttercream was rich but not too sweet. We didn’t have a single cupcake leftover from the party, I’m sad to say. We will order twice as many for our next kids party. The unicorns in the picture were added by us, but Ellen’s did the rest. Service at Ellen’s is always great.

A small town cafe and bakery with a big impact on me personally. I don’t think there’s another breakfast/brunch spot quite like this. The bakery is outstandingly unique, but the menu is memorable as much as its creative. You won’t find a spot like this elsewhere. The attention, the service, and especially the food from the ACTUAL chefs were so thoughtfully made and plated – I had to make this place known with however much effect I had. Breakfast options are very savory, but balances nicely with healthy options and sweets.

Great first experience here! Me, my husband, and our youngest (8 months) came in over the weekend and had a very pleasant breakfast! It was around 9:30-10am and wasn’t busy at all. We had mimosas while we waited for our food. It was quick and our food was gorgeously fresh and hot! And of course we bought some goods from the bakery side before we left!

This is a great place for an early Sunday breakfast, not to mention delicious pastries. You have to wait to be seated, which didn’t take long for me because I was solo, and I was able to order soon after I sat down. I got a mocha and the spanakopita omelette which comes with a side of potatoes and toast. It was delicious but so filling I could barely finish everything! The service was topnotch. Next time I come by I’ll be sure to visit the cafe and take home some ice cream. Highly recommend!

Always enjoy coming to Ellen’s: whether it’s for bakery items or a sit down meal. I ordered several desserts for a dinner party this weekend and everyone raved. Always beautiful to look at, fresh, tasty and not too sweet. Can’t go wrong here and their espresso drinks are excellent.

As soon as we arrived we were greeted by the wait staff and although they were busy, my family was seated right away. Sara our waitress was really friendly to our 3 boys and was very patient even when they were being rambunctious. We placed our order and our food was out shortly after exactly as we ordered it . My boys loved the French toast, and thanks to Sara it was a successful family brunch.

George and Ellen are on top of everything. They have very little turnover in staff which always means good owners. Wish they could get enough staff to seat outside on weekends to reduce the lines. Great dishes with flair, not your ordinary scrambled eggs and bacon.

Ellen’s is a gem. The food is excellent and the menu offers great choices. The on-site bakery offers many varieties of bread as well as cakes, cookies, and a variety of delicious sweet baked goods. They are always busy and close early, 2 on Sunday and 3 during the week. Definitely worth a try. You’ll enjoy it. Oh, since they’ve expanded their space, they’ve added a bar and now serve alcohol. Great mimosas!
