We’ve been trying to get to this location & had the time to come in. It started a little sketchy because they walked us all the way to the back by the bathroom & the manager’s office. But after that it was great. Service was good & so was the food. The breakfast pot pie was good but needed more seasoning & gravy because it was a little dry.

I work across the street & finally decided to try it out. I went on a Friday afternoon around 12:30. I was seated immediately. My serve Christian T was great, very attentive and quick. I had the Chicken Fried Chicken (recommended by Christian) and it was really good. It was -very- loud, but with people just having a great time. Definitely recommend.

Everything was amazing! I got the Cajun pasta with bowtie noodles and half the perfect balance of spice and creaminess to it. My boyfriend got the chicken Benedict and substituted the salad for hashbrowns and it was delicious. We also shared some French toast and it was pretty good. I got the white chocolate cappuccino and I really liked it since it wasn’t too sweet like most places make it. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone! We did have to wait about 30 minutes but definitely worth the wait!!

Great music, great food, great service! I was here in June 2023 and wow! We were seated promptly, they were under staffed and our drinks were still out quickly! The food was delicious! I was with a group and many people ordered breakfast and loved it! Joe’s Balls were so good (all)! If you like southern comfort food and delicious beverages, this is the place! Thanks for a great experience!

Great service with great food. We forgot to reserve a table for 10 and still got seated in a timely fashion. I highly recommend making a reservation! The food is excellent. The parking can be a bit scarce, but find a way.

Brunch day 2- just as good as the first. Ask for Jazz behind the bar and the manager Clark are right there to help you navigate the offering. This has to get 2 or 3 visits in a lifetime. The menu had too much to offer and not enough room to taste it all. Bar is better than most open all day – menu is diverse and super special if you look for the items they make from scratch. There can be a wait, so plan to eat at the bar (yes!) or plan ahead. The wait was 25min at 10:00 on a Sunday. I would have waited if we didn’t find seats at the bar.

Wow! This was my mom and I’s first time visiting Dallas and I was recommended by several people to eat at Ellen’s. The Big Ol’ Breakfast exceeded our expectations so much that we went to the Downtown Dallas location on Thursday and went to the Allen location on Saturday. The eggs were as fluffy as clouds! The first time I ordered the Big Ol’ Breakfast, I got the french toast which was delicious, and my mom ordered the Big Ol’ Breakfast with pancakes. I tasted a piece of her pancakes and decided that on the second time, I would order the pancakes. They were so fluffy and delicious! I can’t wait to schedule our next visit to Dallas so that we can eat the Big Ol’ Breakfast again!
