Had the chicken wings w/ mac n cheese, greens and yams. Everything was delicious! Yams were a bit too sweet, but still very good. Wasn’t expecting the cinnamon in the cornbread- but it wasn’t bad at all.

I ordered turkey chops with white rice and Mac and cheese. The turkey chops was the only good thing in the meal why would a place serve white rice with no gravy butter salt or pepper on it and who puts cinnamon on cornbread. I didn’t like it and will not be goin back. Also didn’t like the fact that they take 10% gratuity with out your permission.

Super unprofessional and rude! Closed 30 minutes early before I could pick up my food then refused to give me a refund! Owner threatened her customers ghetto and embarrassing. As a business owner why are you arguing with valued customers over a refund for food that was never received! The first restaurant that opened in cedar had roaches, they are bringing their disgustingly hateful and unethical business to beachwood! Wouldn’t recommend at all run far away from Ella Maes no soul food!

You ever had soul food with NO SEASONING? Me neither until I came here horrible customer service! also I was in their face mind you a physical customer the older lady with short hair that look like a generic cassi Davis picked up the phone and took a whole order in my face while I mentioned I was there for a doordash order everyone in there completely IGNORED ME and continued to talk on the phone and when I spoke up about it she began to be VERY RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL. FOOD IS DISGUSTING. The female workers threatened me because I said I SEEN A ROACH CRAWL FROM THE KITCHEN and nobody washed their hands. GO TO THE UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS LOCATION ITS WAYYY BETTER I PROMISE !

I love the food there. I ordered the turkey dinner on Easter. I thought it was honey turkey ? I don’t know what that fried meat was?? Pork or turkey…..I came from Mentor to pick it up….didn’t check it prior to leaving….to far to go back …..but the other food was delicious. I will be back!!

I spent $70 on food the pork chop dinners had so much salt on it and they were paper thin. my head is banging while I’m typing. then the yams had so much vanilla in them that’s all I tasted the macaroni and cheese went straight threw my stomach I been toilet since I ate it. I wish they had a no star review auntie Ella mae ain’t got to ever worry about getting a dime from me. I tasted canned yams better than that.
