I got the smothered pork chops, mac and cheese, and yams. That’s the first thing I need to say. This is my first review ever and I ABSOLUTELY needed to write this. If I could give it a 10/5 I would. Arguably some of the best soul food I’ve had in such a long time. I won’t lie to you, I pulled up to the restaurant and I was a little skeptical because there’s only 2 sliding windows and no way to get in for real. But don’t judge a book by it’s cover y’all, trust me! I highly suggest ordering ahead, it will take a while for them to get everything together, but trust me it is so worth the wait! I’m coming here every time I’m in the area

The customer service at this establishment was superb! We were visiting from DC, and staying near by. I found Ella’s via a Google search for near by soul food. We tried the Short Rib and Fried Chicken, Mac, Greens, yams, German Chocolate, and Carrot Cake!

Great food good enough for two people if u are not a big eater. I enjoyed the wings macaroni and cheese and kool aid. Gentleman who took my order very nice. fyi one table with umbrella and benches to sit so good place to order and take home to enjoy

Oh my they have the best soul here You have nice size portions and the prices are right The sweet potatoes are AWESOME a long with dressing collard greens and Mac n cheese.I have to get more than just the 2sides with the dinner so that makes mine more expensive BUT IT IS WORTH IT❤️.Thank you for serving me Ms.Vee❤️

Never got a chance to try the food they said they close at 7pm but tried to order just before 6:30 pm and they wouldn’t take our order…one thing my people gonna do is close early..it is what it is. One day I’ll get to order from their tiny little window out front, then I can update my review once
