Elk Camp takes an elevated approach to casual on-mountain dining with abundant house-made, seasonal options. Take a breather from the mountain at this awe-inspiring place. Boasting a graceful, curved roof and stone columns, its design is inspired from the surrounding Rocky Mountains. Cozy up next to the fireplace with a hearty bowl of grass-fed beef chili and fresh, cornbread or create your own salad with an array of fresh greens, organic vegetables and house-made dressings. Summer or winter, dining al fresco on the deck is always a good choice in sunny weather.

Elk Camp is one of the nicest ski lodges that we have ever stepped foot in. The lodge sits at the top of the Elk Camp gondola in Snowmass and is absolutely beautiful inside and outside. We had a nice relaxing time out on the deck after a long day of hiking. This is a must visit lodge if you are in the area for skiing or hiking.

Quite a nice restaurant located in the upper station of the Gondola. Mainly especially to fast Italian cuisine. But what you have to admit is that the coffee here is excellent. And nice views from the terrace.

Incredible mountain top experience. The staff does an excellent job in the preparation, maintenance, and guest services of all aspects of elk camp. I have continuously been impressed all season. Thank you all.

A great ski lunch place – without the cold as it’s summer.

I’ve been to many ski lodges to grab a bite to eat and this one was the most impressive. The building itself was lovely and I liked the architecture of it. The staff was very friend and answered questions, the cashier used my name during the transaction. I got a slice of pizza and some mac and cheese because I didn’t want to spend a ton of money and I was very surprised how good it was. It was quality I would have expected from a restaurant in town. Lots of seating available, including a bar.

Different mix of food and quite crowded. The kids wanted burgers but there are none to be had here. The pizza was good and the artisanal pizzas looked even better. Nice salad options too.
